@TehQurry: The "CoD Kid" term was used here very loosely. It means people who buy games simply because that's the most popular game to buy and that's the game that everyone likes. You can go ahead and replace CoD with any other popular game out there and it means the same thing.

I'm not dissing on other games because they're popular, I'm dissing on people who aren't willing to try games like these [which are a little different] and saying that it "sux" before even playing it.

mirror's edge 2 is back in production after the first prototype had been rejected. it will be run on the frostbite 2 engine.

Even if that's legit, here's hoping the next sequel doesn't turn out to be as shitty as Need For Speed: "The Runs" turned out to be, and THAT game also uses the FB2 engine yet I certainly wouldn't compare that to something of the likes of BF3. Graphics-wise, BF3 and "The Runs" are nothing alike. DICE better get their shit together and not focus on yet another multiplayer game that no one will care about in a week.

this game isnt dead people still play and mirrors edge two is in development. EA shut down LoTR Conquest online even though it was EAs best game so far, not because it was dead. they did the same for this i guess...........ffs EA...........

They did a interview not too long ago that they didn't shut down me 2 it's just a matter of when they're gonna work on it

So it looks like EA shut down the servers for this game's Time Trial option, I severely doubt that a sequel is even happening at this point despite the rumors online.

I just started playing this game again and found out through a quick search that the online function for this game doesn't really work anymore because not many people play it. No matter what I do I can only play time trial on offline mode. This is a sure sign that this game [M.E. 1] is pretty much dead, sad to say.

@yetisandvichvideos if its pc you can modify your mirrors edge by opening the folder inside there should be labels saying chap.1 chap.2 etc. Click chap 1 the theres a label that says beginning open it dellete intro an find one on the web or else go on to a site which has a free download if any help subscribe

@IpLaYMWII: Welcome to 21st century gaming: where the internet exists, games are only made halfway, then patched about 3 months after release to finish the rest of development. Then to extend the game's life expectancy, several DLC's are developed. DLC's of which should've been in the game in the first place.

Cross your fingers for a sequel...if it will EVER happen despite the news fluff.

You guys know when you start a new game, you get a loading cutscene, with a helicopter flying by. Right? Well, Im having this huge problem, (it never seems to fix, now matter how many times I reinstall or whatnot) RIGHT when the helicopter flies into the screen, Visuals freeze, and sound starts looping. I once found a fix for this... But I dont remember where. My pc can run ME on High. Someone please help me D:

But yeah, it's not just CoD though. It's practically EVERYTHING else that is shitty and sells well. To be consistent with the publisher, a good example of such a shitty game is Dragon Age 2. I've never played the series, but I've never seen so many horrible reviews for just ONE game! Not to mention from the gameplay I've seen, it doesn't appeal to me. The first one is a completely different story though.

@Tguerra123: Well, most people would skip the cutscenes anyway, so I thought they weren't that important and just stuck to strictly uploading gameplay. Anyway, I wouldn't want to give too much away as the whole point of these videos is for people to watch how I beat these levels. I'm not a pro or anything...lol!

@waawaa1aut : My best guess is that they assumed Faith died while the chopper went down, so they left.

Notice how Faith and Sis are in a different spot of the roof compared to where she jumps off from.

Whether the PK's saw them jump off the chopper or not is still a mystery to me.

For those who are actually wondering if there will ever be a Mirror's Edge 2, sources tell me that a sequel has been confirmed, but don't expect the sequel anytime soon. But a 'small team' is working on it!

@darkari01: I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Though don't get the publisher and the developers confused. DICE was responsible for this game, not EA. All EA's responsible for is putting the word out and of course earning their top cut. If the game doesn't sell as well as say, Black Ops, then of course it's not gonna get a lot of attention and hence, less advertising.

It sucks that I have to wait so long for a good game like this to come to fruition. BRINK is on the horizon though :D

@hies123456 : Yeah this too is the PC version of M.E. Honestly, you should buy either system [ps3 or 360] based on what games you're after. Graphics SHOULDN'T be your number 1 concern as both systems have their limitations [though they're more than good enough on their own]. Plus consoles are the mainstream anyway. I have a 360 simply because it was cheaper when I bought it, and I don't play on it much. Its controller is also the most comfortable one I've used for this generation.

Do you happen to own the game?

Im asking because ALL of the songs from every level are available to listen to in the "Bonus Content" section of the game from the Main Menu.

I don't remember if it's actually called "Bonus Content", but I know that in that section it includes everything, from pictures and screenshots of the game's development to all of the song from every level.

If you have an Audio capturer (like Audacity), you can let the song play while you record in the background.

This game was fun, I think I might replay it on my ATi HD 5870..I'll be using a 9500GT for physx..I wonder how well that will do..

PS: You can get much more playable FPS when recording with FRAPS if you play the game on a separate hard drive that the FRAPS video is being recorded to..

Yeah I noticed that...When I get my hardware back (my motherboard finally bricked and its on its way to XFX), I will be sure to no longer use JBOD on all of my hard drives. I´ll just use one hard drive for Windows 7 and the rest I will use for storage, and of course FRAPS.

When I finally get my hardware back, I will go all out with a Tri-SLI setup. Although it´s ¨aged¨, it works very well for my 19 widescreen monitor :)
