i think in far cry 3 they should put generators in to make things move and more materials as in far cry 2 all of the materials are just african and boring yes dont get me wrong you can make some amazing things but i think with moving objects and generators you could create a hell lot more and also put lights in and get better cars and gus :D simple :)

I'm absolutely positive that this game would've become the greatest fps made by ubisoft which would have made millions even being as popular as mw3 and crysis 2. But what caused it to die was the lack of mods and the release of the FC2SDK. With that said I'm not anywhere near surprised. It's Ubisoft I'm talking about here. In turn sucks and is clearly deathly afraid of seeing such a thing happen due to the sheer power that would be seen via modders instead of themselves. Go figure.

I have Far Cry 2 for xbox 360.I got it a while ago and have barely played it because It frustrated me on single player when you die all the time and have to keep travelling across the map for missions (Maybe I am just bad).I am considering playing it more now as I am bored of my current games but none of my friends play it , they all play Black ops.Is it worth getting back into this game ?

@GBGxPROTOTYPE yes the map editor is on the ps3. and it's rare to find a server with anybody in it. single player is great though.

@GBGxPROTOTYPE this game has one of THE BEST map editors on the console. forge might surpass it a little but this is more user friendly. as for the online im not sure if people still play it but the campaign alone is worth buying the game for.

@ianbo1 No dude, all FarCrys have been big$. Farcry2 was lower selling because it was a test run for the next gen systems and a test run for styles, story, and location. Location is everything, you make a map of an area that people would really want to live in or be at for a good gun fight! The desert is not a fun place in real life or games. You put the gun fight back in the jungle with beautiful trees, streams, and waterfalls then of course people want to be there. I say put it in a neon city!

I hope Ubisoft fixes a lot of problems they had with Far Cry 2 so they wont fuck up Far Cry 3. Ex enimes respawning all the time, not having to drive every were for missions,replace currency in FC3. I was hoping they would have FC3 in Antarica oh and please for the love of god no fucking Malaria in FC3 thanks Ubisoft.

Crytek and Ubi work together with FC3 (i heard), so ubi will have the ideas and crytek will watch them so they dont make that much mistakes like the clipping/floating in SP maps :)

@Roman8880 Crytek and Ubisoft are two completely different companies Ubisoft bought licensing rights from Crytek for their engine CryEngine 2 (Which had to be lowered to run on consoles) then they modified it and renamed it Dunia Engine which powered Far Cry 2, Crytek were the people behind Crysis, Crysis 2 and Far Cry 1.
