If you built up your traps, lats, upper and lower pecs good you should be able to curl where ever the hell you want. People who have underdeveloped/no back or chest shouldn't even be able to do curls until they are done with there back or chest workout and when they are done with it and are ready to do bis or tris they shouldn't need a squat rack because the chest or back workout will account for 75% of your bi or tri workout.A light cable or BB will suffice. The squat rack is for squating, overhead pressing and rack pulling only. The platform is for olympic lifts, deadlifting, bent over rows, and t-rows. Curls have no place here.

@wrightmt01 Cause the only place you can squat or do barbell shrugs is in a squat rack. when there's only one squat rack in your gym and some tools are using it to curl when you wanna squat it's gonna piss you off, esp. cause they can easily do curls somewhere else. Whenever i use the squat rack for something stupid and i see someone waiting for it, I always give it to them, even if im not done my sets... People just don't know how to be courteous these days.

The squat rack is for squating, overhead pressing and rack pulling only. The platform is for olympic lifts, deadlifting, bent over rows, and t-rows. Curls have no place here.

thats a wide barbell curl, variete from long to shorter has good effect on me :O i sometimes use wide and sometimes shorter so the biceps doesnt get used to the wide one or the shorter one...
