kempachi is a good fighter but even in th episodes that haven't even come out in japanese he hasnt learned the name of his zonpaktou. if he did he would at least learn shikai but dont you have to master bankai before you become a captain? I know Amagai didnt untill he "became captain" of the 3rd squad only because Yamomoto killed his father after Ichimarus rebellion with Aizen. im not saying this against kempachi but i think he should learn the name of his zonpaktou or atleast make it to shikai.

I dont think you can say anybody can beat kenpachi because he has the most spirit power besides the General most likely and he would take most opponents apart if he wanted to but he likes to play with them for fun just like he did to ichigo. Also in the manga he beats the 5th espada and is still standing wanting more but Ichigo barely beat grimmjow in bankai-hollow form. So hes improved since that time.
