@timothysidebotham You are supposed to reverse the polarity so it goes towards the ceiling. And they basically sound the same except for a couple like the old Pioneer Champion woofers. They would make no noise at all because of their basket design.

That sir is the voice coils reaching their thermal limit and burning, therefore raising the overall impeadence, putting more stress on your amplifier, ruining your b/l value, and completely ruining/weakening the voice coil, therefore decreasing your overall SPL dramatically. Aka morphing the woofer, frying them. But still your system isn't bad, but that dont help ya

@FaRtNoooooget :) there are two braces going across the top of the car that were glued to the roof with foam to keep it sturdy and this song broke the glue loose so the whole roof was free bouncing around haha. much quieter now that i fixed it. bent the braces up more to put pressure on the top and sound deadened the top with three layers on the brace so it doesnt smack up against the roof and make that god awful noise

box s tuned to around 38htz thinkin about changing it to about 35. subs somehow managed to get around the glue and everything and pop the top corner loose but hit a 144.4 with a box that wasnt solid. not too bad but lookin for at least 150 so its not goin back in until thats accomplished haha
