@au25 Gears 1's story was waaaay better than this one. It actually had a sense of darkness and was very sinister and creepy. Especially the Kryll. Gears 2 had more emotion to it, what with Dom's wife and such. It depends on your personal preference.

When I first saw the trailer for this game in 2008 on TV I thought "Oh, cool! I hope my parents get me that! :D" because the trailer looked good, but, I was only 8 years old, so I was ignorant. @megamanX1100 this takes place after GoW 1. @kaesar9721 yeah I hope so, like in Halo 2 you can play as the Arbiter. also, I personally would've trained the Rook, depending on the situation.

You know, I keep thinking... maybe the lightmass bomb is really weak. Maybe they should've used a fission bomb instead? Or if they have the technology for it, they could use a fusion bomb!

@LILCOACHGRIFF007 Like Gears 1, you learn the basic controls in the game while taking a longer route. Gears 2 training goes through a longer route, actually more of a extra tutorial act before the hospital chapter, although its more of a review for players who played Gears 1.
