@seipher0615 He wants to repeal Roe vs Wade (look it up) and promote the sanctity of life act giving fetuses the rights of every other US citizen. He also thinks states should have the right to choose on the Gay rights issue. This is like giving the states to decide on segregation laws in the 50's. If we had it Ron Paul's way, the south would still have slavery, because it is the "states right to choose."
@stwolma I get the idea of for Social workers getting cut primarily because I live in Michigan, which is run by an asshole (Snyder). He is cutting all these programs. If Paul were to be elected, a million times more power would go to assholes like Snyder therefore cutting all of the state run departments such as what you mentioned. I know these departments mainly are controlled by the states, so far this hasnt worked, and with Paul, things would only get worse.

The federal government can pass what it wants but barring a terrorist attack, God forbid and I mean that, it would be impossible to take up arms to "root out terrorism" in the domestic capacity. I agree. Ron Paul is the only politician with a pro self-government agenda. I have dropped the "liberal" and "conservative" labels. Labels are used for warfare to divide the common people. @seipher0615 He wants to repeal Roe vs Wade (look it up) and promote the sanctity of life act giving fetuses the rights of every other US citizen. He also thinks states should have the right to choose on the Gay rights issue. This is like giving the states to decide on segregation laws in the 50's. If we had it Ron Paul's way, the south would still have slavery, because it is the "states right to choose."

Contrary to popular belief, the Dept of Education does not establish schools or colleges, and only provides funding and policy.
The majority of police officers are locally/state employed, and most of Federal law enforcement is employed by the Department Of Homeland Security.

@stwolma I get the idea of for Social workers getting cut primarily because I live in Michigan, which is run by an asshole (Snyder). He is cutting all these programs. If Paul were to be elected, a million times more power would go to assholes like Snyder therefore cutting all of the state run departments such as what you mentioned. I know these departments mainly are controlled by the states, so far this hasnt worked, and with Paul, things would only get worse.

Ron Paul does not support corporate welfare or government subsidies, which “Big Oil” receives to this day. Big companies have been able to "rape us financially and physically" because of the precedent set by Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad Company (1886):

@iJuStEriC Corporations have the same rights as natural persons and to enforce legal contracts (as opposed to the dissolving charters they were bound to before).
Ron Paul will not cut out Social Security, rather he will "phase-out " SS (by allowing younger generations to opt out of the program). People will still receive their benefits, minus those who opt out.

@iJuStEriC With your claims to his abortion stance: though he is an opponent of abortion, he believes that states should retain jurisdiction over its legality and not the Federal Government. Roe Vs. Wade does the exact opposite: it enforces a federal mandate (to legalize abortion) onto the states, which is completely unconstitutional.
