  • 2fps. Repeat:2fps.

  • Шо ты там сука пиздишь безрукое хуйло нерусское

  • "hot toilet" ???

  • This is a Spectrum game? Damn! Impressive for something from that time!

  • man i had a game called dark side on c64,made by the same people who made driller, and total eclipse.did they make this too?

  • Yeah i had driller at the time and i can remember reading Zzapp64 a Work In Progress article before it was released and absolutely DROOLING of it when i saw the screen shots and read about what was going to be in it :)

But i never did end up getting it :( To answer your question though, yes Castle Master was made by the same people :)

  • @racefaceec90 Yeah... Incentive was the name.

  • @racefaceec90 I thinks the right to the engine were sold to other publishers.

  • I remember this game! I got it on DOS (Diskette) My dad kicked ass on it!

  • I found this while trying to find footage of Total Eclipse - I had this too and loved it!

  • Amazing for a spectrum game...

  • This was pretty good on Amstrad CPC 464 too.

  • I know a secret!! If you stand on the drawbridge and shoot the button the drawbridge closes and shoots you up in the air to a secret ledge! At least thats what it used to do on the Amiga :)

  • It also worked on the pc version

  • Not really a secret. If I remember correctly, you had to do that to win the game as one of the treasures is located on the roof of the stables.

  • lol first 3 seconds i was thinking " you think ur funny huh? " so i muted and watched

  • Dark Side and Total Eclipse I never understood the objectives. 3d games in zx was something great back then (to me at least). Thank u for putting these videos here. Great memories!

  • i have an 8800gt would that be enough for these graphics low settings? lol :o) i miss these games.

  • Yes it would, but you'd need a brain to use the spectrum emulator. You have the graphics but not the other. Good luck.

  • 3d on spectrum! thats amazing

  • Driller, Dark Side, Total Eclipse, Castle Master, CM2 The Crypt .... was there any others?

  • I got this game in the early 1990s. I must say i had fun exploring all the different areas and trying to debunk the clues. I think in totall there was 3 potions to find. The first two were easy to find, the final one more difficult. i managed to see it but couldnt find the way in to get it. In the end i thought bollocks and smashed it with a rock.

  • amazing 3-D

  • just incredible i could only fantesizing such thing could happend on a 8 bit system.

    amezing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Faster than C64 version but in my opinion the atmosphere is suffering from the lack of music. Freescape games were great for the time!!!

  • Yeah. Faster and we get almost 3 colors! =O OMG!

  • Yes. Spectrum was and is the best.

  • was this game really 3d?or the authors did paint an image for all frames?

  • Oh, it was truly 3D - real pioneer work.

  • It was really 3D. They eventually released the game engine as "3D Construction Kit" so you could make your own games, and that used entirely 3D objects.

  • have you seen sam coupe?

mayhem accelerator 24mhz and datagear dma interface should boost this up a bit

try zx spin on pc replay files from rzx archive you can accelerate too

  • Always the spectrum version. Why not the Amstrad version?

At least it has a few colours.

  • This is what I call retro.

  • ooyeeee foak! :)

looks great that game for its age.

  • I had this game and played it for about 5 seconds..

  • What year is this game from?

  • This kind of games was a real revolution at it's time. i've bought the 3d construction kit and made some rooms.

    Thx for the video!!

  • Nice one Paul.

  • woow... and its in spanish!!! :P

i think a very good game for that time

by the other side, the movements are not fluid, and the graphics are the ZX classics

    good vid paul!

  • for a 3d game on the speccy its ace isnt it considering it only has 3.5 MHz of proccessing power and like 48 to 128k of ram and is smoother then what most games managed on a windows pc lol top stuff

  • that's pretty cool. i didn't know there were zx spectrum games that worked like a first-person shooter.
