I am especially impressed by the resonance. Is your secret the amount of open space in the sound board (which is less than that on drums that don't sound as good) or do the tongues themselves resonate with one another sympathetically? Also, do you sell copies of your plans? This is an especially beautiful instrument. When you tune the tongues, do you focus only on the end and base of each tongue or do you seek out other nodes? Whatever you are doing, you are certainly doing it right.
you need to shave the underside of each tongue to tune it but you dont have to there is a post called the brady tongue drum and it sounds more percussive that is what your drum will sound something like if you dont tune the tongues
