im flying air france 777-300 direct flight from Singapore to France. 12 hours and i'm kinda scared cause i heard some bad stuff about this ariline and the 2009 flight 447 creeps me out so how was the journey? was it smooth?

@FTSHINeeJT don't worry, the 777 is the safest jetliner in the world. and the flt 447 disaster was caused by the bad design of the A330's instruments which gave erroneous readings and confused the pilots.

Yep, this is a 777-200ER. GE90-115BL1s on the 777-300ER have a darker cone with the white GE90 spiral.

"Don't do anything 1 hour before the landing" implies leaving your seat and going to the lavatory. (I just flew with Aeroflot 1 week ago, and they locked down the lavatory about 30 mins prior for landing) this is to prevent another Delta A330 incident that occured at Detroit Airport last year.

this camera view seems to be on the starboard side of the aircraft, which is basically the "L" seats in Air France's 777s. The "A" seats are on the port side of the aircraft, in which this isn't throughout the take-off. So, you must be in seat 4L, not 4A from your replies.
