Oui, c'est vrai que pour moi c'est nul et même pourrit. Mais pour mon petit frère de 7 ans qui adore les voitures c'est le genre de film qu'il adorerait, avec des effets qui le rendrait supère contant et des autos en pagailles..... Mais vue les bandes annonce, a par les effets ya rien qui accroche pour moi. (j'aime pas les voitures, éventuellement les couleurs et la création mais je préfère encore un jour sur Terre que ceux film).

Have you even seen the Speed Racer show? there is no way you can do this movie without alot of CGI. This movie show exactly what the Speed Racer cartoon was about, alot of over the top races with impossible stunts.

The matrix was good :) but after the first movie!! the makers have seriously suffered on plots!! Speed Racer is clearly for playstation kids :) its not going to be a deathrace, mad max type film :) or the fast and the furious! I wish alot of companys would stop churning out CGI driven movies!! and focus on real car stunts etc, they look way better :)

They love the Speed Racer cartoon and wanted to make a movie about it. BTW, it silly to say that older people won't like just because it's colorful. This movie is based on a cartoon from the 60s, so adults who loved the show will see it. Plus the movie has alot of over the top car racing, that would definitly get people interested.

I think no way comparing Mad Max to Speed Racer.The first i loved it from when i was little,and was not so exaggerated.Matrix has a fascinating story,most internet people loved it(me included)and not only.

I think they should make more dare devil race films! than rely on cgi! I know speedracer is set in the future but it just looks like a playstation game :) you wont get the thrills that films like Mad Max had :) some of you may say thats an old film! but seriously! the stunts/driving in those films are still outstanding :) and has a cool sense of real danger! and they were dangerous to film!! thats why I think CGI is cheap :)

Why not take advantage of what technology can give us. There movies, for the most part, they're not supposed to be a 100% realistic. Take Transformers for example, that movie had giant robots that can transform into vehicles, how are you going to do that without cgi? Plus, this movie is supposed to have a cheap look, it gives the movie a live action anime feel.

Cars flying and fighting while they fly, landing from 30 feet and then going on like nothing had happened, actually i dont think there is a suspencion that could handle that.

This looks more like a Hotwheels's series (Acceleracers i think its the name) with a lot of 5-year-old action-fantasy than the real series i used to watch when i was kid
