lmao, I love how the Korean's visiting Australia, are calling the Australian's foreigners.

This show isn't racist against Asians. It shows people of all different races. You get Europeans, Asians, people from the UK, people from Africa.

It's rare that you get Australian's needing rescues purely because most Australian's are taught surf safety in primary school, and by our parents even if we don't live near the beach.

I think it would be such a good idea if Waverley Council got a group of volunteer translators available to the lifeguards so that they could actually properly educate/explain the dangers to tourists, or help people who've got in trouble. If Bondi is going to be promoted as a tourist destination seems to make sense!

I am sure that if you foreigners went to a particular Korean beach and not speak a word of Korean, you may end up hospitalised after jumping into a beach infested with schools of jellyfish. That is also a manifestation of cultural and geographical ignorance, not knowing much about the dangers that lurk in particular beaches.

I am Korean born Australian and perfectly bilingual. In Korea, no beach is as rough as here in Australia. Naturally, it is not unusual to let children wander off in the beach, especially if they are in a group. However, Australian eastcoast can be very dangerous as you all know by now from watching this show. I personally go to Bondi beach very often, and know how rough it can be there sometimes. The mattert is of cultural and geographical difference and a hint of ignorance on that woman's part.
