this song basically sums up whats so great about 80s music and specifically 'Hair Metal' ... they all just wanted to play loud music and have a good time !!!
Fuck that , Takasaki friggin rocks. As does the whole band. Listen to his solo and his perfect clear yet distorted riff. Awesome band all around. "Lightning Strikes!"
akira made a bunch of us quit metal and start playing folk music. malmstein didnt do that because he was too impossible to believe, akira is real and beside the fact that he endorsed roland amps, which rock ,the guitar was custom to the bone.esp or whatever. you cant get that action off the rack.sucks that it wont fit in a guitar stand
Nothing funny about it, Takasaki is awesome....That riff is awesome and forget the singers name. Many bands went to Japan and still do , I bought that cassette and it blew my mind. Love Loudness!
@beecee151 To be more accurate....what I meant is that Japan is known for foreigner bands visiting and get big time concert money from their great turnout and love of Western/European metal (Also pop but dont want to go there) Loudness is not only a great Japanese band but awesome metal band all together. Takasaki is one of my top 10 favorite guitarists.....totally rips! Also love thier crunch/clear articulate riffs.
@vomitkings12 Takasaki uses ESP Signature Random Star guitars[6] and several Killer guitars, mostly the KG Prime model. He is co-owner of the Killer Guitars label, which are made and distributed by ESP.[3] He has used Marshall Amplifiers in the earlier years and later years of Loudness. s own signature Shredneck.[8]
Maybe its just me, but I notice a HUGE similarity in the tone between Akira and Dimebag Darrell. Very similiar...Akira is a fabulous guitar player, he can kick some serious ass.
that fuckin kicks ass i remember watching that when i was a kid on an old beta cassette my brother had taped before i was born gonna get that album tommorow
@vomitkings12 one of the most underrated players of the century far better than evh or any of the chumps like that still no Gary Moore or Brian May but truly great
