I knew BSG was going to be a groundbreaking series when she and Adama were plotting to kill each other during an incident involving his officers. The Battlestar Commanders, Lorne Greene and Lloyd Bridges, never had that kind of animosity toward each other.
@dfri729 That's what made BSG great, the writers had guts and were willing to take risks like that. Something Star Trek Voyager never did. Any problem was solved with technobabble or sermons on the Prime Directive to justify doing nothing. Simple cowardice.
Cain was so the Shit! She understood you have to be hard and ruthless to survive. And she DID survive. Salutes to Cain and her Pegasus! you are missed.
Those of you who fall to pieces over Gina's torture are nuts. If Gina had it her way Cain would be dead, as her mission was genocide of the human race. I suppose you would also not want to harm one hair on the head of Josef Mengele.
great stuff! the song fits admiral cain to bits! and i agree that Gina was treated terribly. Cain shouldnt have treated Gina like that, but then again, her history with the cylons was painful in itself. Although it doesn't justify the way she treated Gina, it's a pity Cain had to die.
I agree with Cait8915. Gina's treatment was just awful. Cain must have lost a great deal of her humanity to treat an ex-love interest like that. Must have torn her up to have allowed herself to get emotionally involved, only to find that her lover was a traitor the whole time. :(
(I just wish the "Razor" TV Movie showed more of her background story. There just wasn't enough of Cain in it for my liking!) Great video. Great song. Good job! :)
@JLWilliams3 The sequences after the Rear Admiral shows up are clearly not well thought out. Either she’d be square like Adama with an interestingly different criterion for her judgments, or she’d be a most covert & crafty Cylon responsible for the success of the sneak attack.
No Rear Admiral would infiltrate goons onto her subordinate captain’s ship, and that is too obvious of a brute force action for a Cylon trying not to reveal itself. A Rear Admiral's stars do not hatch out of an egg.
You mean like wreck the fleet, squander irreplaceable resources, ruin cohesion, demoralize everyone, and gift the Cylons with military advantage over the human survivors? By the script Cain was better at fulfilling the Cylons’ scheme, than the Cylons themselves.
We lately appreciated her value I think...
For the first 3 season, Adama was great. I give him that.
But look at all the shit that happenedthrough 4th season.
She should have been The Admiral in the last season. That is for sure.
It would be a hell of a change and would be awesome in every way of aspect.

Not quite a 5-star video, but definitely one of the better Battlestar vids out there.
And Pat Benatar is the shit.

What a Gorgeous woman + commander + warrior...
Her death was SUCH a loss... :(
By the way,
there couldn't be any better choice than Michelle Forbes
for Admiral Cain character

@UnionLords A Rear Admiral’s stars do not hatch out of an egg.
Cain is a carrier DIVISION C-in-C not a hot-head cowboy captain, else she’d never be carrying a Flag aboard a capital ship to set up headquarters.
These sequences are bad script writing.
