  • Nice video! by the way my mate applied this fantastic weight loss program named: Impact 790 Diet and shed 16 pounds within just a month. I do not remember the exact website just Google it.

  • im eating 300 cals a day ,Ive been stuck at 130ish it fluctuates between 130-131 ,I was wondering does calorie shifting help get past a plateau ? any advice would be helpful

  • @pinkcouture2010 Hi, 300 calories a day is far to little and considered crash dieting. You don't want to fall below 1200 calories a day. That's the absolute minimum. Please increase your caloric intake as you don't want to slow your metabolism down so much that it goes into starvation mode. Eating several smaller meals throughout the day is a great way to keep your metabolism revved and you energized.

  • @YouTips4U thanx for the great advice, your smart, and pretty too :)

  • Thanks for the helpful tips :) I have lost a lot of weight in the past year and dropped from asize 14 to a 6 but my goal is a size 2 or 4 and now my weight loss seems to have slowed dramatically. It's still working, just much slower and it's frustrating. But I don't snack at all so that could be why. Going to follow your advice and see if that makes a difference. Thanks!

  • I work out vigorously 5 to 6 days a week, 2-3 hours a day, and I eat only around 1500 calories, high protein, low carb. I lost 40 pounds quickly...But i've been stuck at this plateau for 3 weeks or more.

  • How long does it typically take to break the plateau phase?

  • Hi, everyone is different because it depends on how much weight you have lost and how strict you have been with your diet, but usually within a week you can start to get past it will the proper changes.

  • Good video for loosing weight.

  • I have heard you recommend eating small meals throughout the day a few times. What is considered a small meal? Could you give an example of one?

  • Hi, sure. A small meal would be an apple with peanut butter, or a yogurt with fruit and some cereal. It's a more substantial snack that involves more than one food group. Good question :o)

  • ya video really helped me i had plateau an got so stressed as i lost 45lbs in 10days iv lost 6.4lbs so was a great help for me looking forward to losing the last stone keep up the good work on ya videos

  • thanks this vid was helpful it motivated me

  • You solved the dilemma of my life :P Really, I've been wondering about these kinds of things for AGES :D Thanks!

  • Love your hair :)

  • cut sugar- lower carbs -increase fiber -increase calorie burning -by doing more cardio

  • Thanks for the tips and encouragement!

  • I have tried all these and still there's no result for me :( I am very slim, but I do have some belly fat I want to get rid of.Please help me!

  • Hi, keep doing your ab workouts regularly; 3-4 times a week and you will see the results you are hoping for. It can take 2-3 months sometimes to get that flat stomach; the important thing is that you be consistent about your exercise.

  • @BABYJaneta

do insanity beachbody program its perfect plus getting flat stomach you will increase your fitness level

  • @BABYJaneta Hi there, have you tried cutting dairy products. Im not a fan of them as they are the cause of so many ailments, i.e. cancer, asthma. Their are other sources of calcium i.e. sesame seeds, goats cheese. Also do you have access to Alkaline drops? Sang Whang created the water alkaliser and the drops. Add these to your water and inturn the alkaline neutralises the acid in our bodies caused from stress, acid producing foods. Fat is solidified acid! It has been miraculous for me! :o)

  • What if you eat like 90grams of protein and don't snack??? I have more than the recommended amount of protein from fish and protein shacks.???? What do I need to do??I went from 202 to 159 and I want to lose 39 pounds

  • Hi, eating smaller meals throughout the day actually helps speed up your metabolism. You may also want to up your exercise time or intensity to help you get over your plateau.

  • It's also helpful to eat foods with high water content as this helps to remove fat from your body.

  • So you're saying if I eat more protein I will get over this plateau? I do jiu jitsu bout 4 to 5 days a week and I usually come home drenched in sweat. I work so hard but yet remain the same weight. I count calories and eat 33% of fat, carbs and protein. Would it be a good idea to cut fat and increase protein?

  • Hi, you can cut your fat a bit more

  • I really hope some of these work for me. I was about ready to give up, cause I've been at the same weight for about a month or so. And I still have 30 pounds to go. ><

  • Awesome! Thanks!

  • This was great. I'll try some of this tips.

  • I heard doing cardio on an empty stomach first thing when we wake up helps to lose weight. Rather than eating first and waiting bout and hr. or more. However, you would want to eat before a workout if you are doing weight training so you don't tear muscle tissue?

  • Hi, it's fine to exercise first thing in the morning when you wake up before you eat. I love going for a morning jog or walk before breakfast, however, bear in mind that you have limited resources since you haven't eaten since the night before, so you don't want to go too long or you will have too much of a drop in blood sugar and you could feel lousy all day. You'll get the same benefit from your exercise if you eat first and wait two hours as you do going on a empty tummy.

  • @YouTips4U thx for the tips! btw, I also heard eating something hot like oatmeal rather than something cold first thing when you wake up is better to jump start your metabolism?

  • You should have your own tv show ! You know your stuff and are very helpful without being rude and put people down! Thank you , you've changed my life

  • Hi, thanks so much for your kind words. I'm so glad you've found my videos helpful :o)

  • hi, thx again for such great tips..I have a HUGE request . I went to the gym for the first time yesterday and was just blown away by all the information out there about workout routines...what to eat/drink before and after etc.

I really dont have any weight to loose thankfully but just want to (a) increase my heart rate for overall health and (b) tone up just a bit...Can you plzzz do a video on how we should maximise our time at the gym etc!!

    THX...you hair looks great btw!!

  • Hey thanks for more tips! I look forward to these tidbits!

I am 45 physically but feel 16 at times. I do notice my recovery times have slowed abit. I do shotokan karate and work out with weights as well. Will you have some tips for women going into perimenopause, as I believe I'm doing?

    Thanks for reading, Aspen

  • Hi, I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos! Kudos to you for staying in great shape. Peri-menopause can start months or even years before actual menopause and I think that's a great topic for a tips video to help others who may be dealing with this as well. I will put it on my list. You should know that you are already doing one of the best things for dealing with the hormonal swings, etc. and that is - exercise!! Keep up the good work.

  • These are really good tips, Thanks! A lot of this I already knew, but hearing it from you, makes me motivated to actually do it! :) I was just wondering if you work in the health and well-being field, or if it is just a hobby? Thanks again, I enjoy your videos! :)

  • Hi, I'm so glad you found my tips helpful and that they helped to motivate you; that's what I'm trying to do for people here on YouTube :o)

I do not work in the health field, but have self-studied health and fitness all my life. It is quite a hobby and you figure out what works and what doesn't so I'm just sharing with others some practical knowledge of what I have found that really works for me and I know will work for others. Thanks so much for your terrific feedback!!.

  • My god, you are good! This is one of your best vids so far.

Anyway, I am vegetarian... do you have any other tips for me? (I am not vegan tho, I still eat dairy, eggs....)

    Thank you so much!

    xxx Elisa

  • That's great! Keep up the good work. Remember positive change doesn't always happen in a straight line so there will be a few set backs. You have a great attitude though and you moved on to do better the next day. That's the spirit!

  • Great tips :) thanks alot, it was very helpful. i will definitly apply the protien tip in my diet but i am a lacto-Ova- Vegeterian the only options i have here is egg whites & beans if you have any other recommendations i will be very thankful:)

  • Hi, you can get a lot of your protein requirements from soy like tofu and tempeh. You can also have yogurt and kefir. Both have a great amount of protein.
