it took me a full 30 minutes of fighting bumper to bumper traffic through campus to get there. when i arrived the crowd was very subdued and just packed in like sardines. i guess the initial rejoicing had worn off.

was this immediately after the game? by the time i got downtown it was much more subdued

It was about 2 minutes after the game ended. What time did you get down there? It lasted for quite a while.
