there is no such thing as hho. You have Hydrogen and Oxygen in the same container, which is asking for an explosion. Standing anywhere near a container of that is asking for injury... even a static discharge could cause it to explode.
@helipilot727 HHO is the common term online for a 2 H2 and 1 O2 mixture. They were not actually incorrectly referring to H2O. You can search for the term "hho" on wikipedia, youtube, or google for more info.
It's funny until someone get's hurt. Detonate HHO from a safe distance. Watch my video - HHO Detonator Modified BBQ lighter. BTW I admire your bravery.
@joebulatao I've thought of a safer method though I haven't tried it yet. Fill your balloon/garbage bag/barrel from a long cheap plastic hose. This way you can fill it and detonate it without approaching it at all and can make it as dangerously large as you want. To detonate it, you could disconnect the hose from the generator and light the end. The flame front will travel all the way down the line and to your explosive since there is hho within the hose.
Adding the H2 and O2 to the intake of an engine that is a bit on the inefficient side can improve matters. It increases the combustion temperature a little. The process of making the H2 and O2 takes about twice the energy that the burning gives back but the increased temperature can compensate for the loss.
That was plain old H2 and O2 exploding. When you pass an electrical current through water, it makes bubbles of H2 and O2. It produces them in exactly the right mixture to make a good explosion. A friend of mine planted glass into his arm doing stuff like this.
Yes you do need to be very cautious messing with HHO. Glass containers are a bad idea! I had this generator and bubbler in containers made of pvc pipe.
It also a very good idea to wear ear plugs when igniting HHO!!
A face mask is also in order. A balloon full of H2 and O2 ignited will wake the neighbors and bring the police (I have it on good authority :) )
BTW: There really is no such thing as HHO. It is a myth that got started a few years back by someone who didn't really understand what was happening. Once you pry the Hydrogen loose in water, it quickly mates up in pairs. There is no preventing this. You also end up making some water vapor. This make the mixture a bit heavier than expected
We were doing mortar shots with 1L water bottles and the concussion shattered the stove lighter in my hand. I am using a butane torch now!.. and gloves... and goggles : )
Guys look into Bob boyces work. You'll want to download patrick kelly's compilation regarding how to build the circuits for the boyce toroid and cells which tap environmental energy for the h20 splitting rather than using the direct energy from the power source.
haha it will blow my knees off. u mean ur l-e-g-s durdurdur

Check out what you can do with HHO. The HydroGun, it's a blast.

What you are doing is 6th grade science.

@BigBananaMan You got it dude, we want everybody to be safe around HHO.

I don't know who you are. But I would like to meet you one day.
Really good video.
Just read down the texts here:
The bottle did EXplode. It did NOT implode.
If you want to find out:
firstly read up on your science.
Then: Try it for yourself. We are not just a bunch of hillbillies here. We are working towards a target. And this man is doing well.

take the tube of the hho generator. put it in soapy water. watch the bubbles rise and ignite. very cool
