Pretty cool. I hope the contest judge wasn't English though, because the Lords' counties are pronounced very differently. I haven't ever met an American who could pronounce 'Exeter', 'Salisbury' or especially 'Gloucester' though, so no worries kid!

Ack! well, I guess you have to take into consideration this kid's age. Did a fairly good job memorizing it...BUT he needs to stop with the "happy feet" and the chair banging. If he keeps working at this one speech until he is 18 he should have a nice piece. He's too young to do it really effectively now. He needs to vary pitch and pacing and have more acting levels. Some coaching would go a long way for this kid. Snaps for taking a difficult speach at his age though.

i have known this kid for a long long time. he did a better job at this speech than most normal kids can do! not to mention that this speech was made by a kid with an autism-associated disorder. do you know any kids with asperger's that can get in front of a group of kids and perform that speech as well as he did?! sure, he could use some acting classes, but im sure robin williams got the same comment at some point! If you are going to ridicule him, at least spell "speech" right! jerk!

Haha! This was great! My name is Quinn, too and I am about to perform this monologue. Although I'm not in 8th grade, I do hope that I will get high marks. I hope he keeps up with the shakespeare. Good job, Quinn. And great name, too.
