@theoriginalMaxman2 Two bars 4/4, one bar 3/4 then another 4/4. It could just be three of 4/4 then one of 3/4 but the phrasing would be weird and 15/4 would be unnecessarily long.
@iamtomhansen thanks so much man, I love this song, I tried counting on my own. Some odd reason, I suspected 17/4 or 17/8. Nevermind that, haha. Thanks again.
you're right on MusikPhan, eerie, dark, heavy, like a Monster lurking around the corner ready to dominate, make his victim bow down. One of "grunges" great songs, solid album. (though in my opinion not a total classic, some misses on the CD). Music fits the lyrics. SGarden were indeed one of the best to come out of that era, in my humble opinion slightly behind Alice, even STP(grunge?). Their albums are more consistent. SG has a bunch of great songs though. Follow up was disappointing.
@justinisboss Funny thing is, they classify it as post-grunge. Seem all about the labels these days. People are not content unless they can judge something. In the end, it all comes down to if it rocks or just flat out blows.
Haunting and grim mood. Eerie guitar work. The 1st song I ever heard by Soundgarden (ironically), but 1 that compelled me to learn and hear more. I'm glad I did. They were (and still remain) an incredible band of talented musicians and lyrics. With Chris Cornell as the frontman, they couldn't be beat. In my opinion, the perhaps the greatest thing to come out of the Grunge Era (not taking away from others who have strengths/power on their own) because their songs were drawn out/experimented with.
Thanks for the response! Appreciate it. AIC I really like alot ("Got Me Wrong" is one of my favorite tracks of ALL time). Candlebox only slightly familiar with. This was a great era in music that hasn't lost any of its worth. Take care!
what a real god damn shame music has become.....this shit was amazing

@HelloFade2 "Applebite" is the musical equivalent of a very BAD trip. Great fucking track. Shit, I might have to go back and listen to DOTU again.
