@hempartist420 If you’ll read the New Testament along with the Old Testament you’ll learn that we have been redeemed from the curse of the law (including sin) by the precious blood of Jesus. The Old Testament is the foundation and includes what we actually deserve, however, now we live under the New Covenant. Jesus took your place and after His death on the cross took upon Himself the death penality for all sin but you must repent of your sins and accept His forgiveness.
@giramino no, what you mean by "the curse of the old law" is the OT, and if you reject the old testament you reject the whole purpose to the NT. You also reject the creation story and all of the commandments. what you're doing is picking and choosing what you want the bible to say, not what it actually says. Jesus(according to the bible) never says that the old law has been abolished. you might want to do some studying on the origins of the bible...

You’re confusion is due to your lack of understanding that the Jesus became the ‘fulfillment of the law’ by His sacrifice on the cross and His blood. No law or demand of God has changed. The Old Testament is like the foundation of the house and the New Testament is the house itself. If you were to take away the foundation you would destroy the house. @giramino problem here is that I actually have studied the bible, my dad is a baptist minister and I've read and studied the bible many times. When it says that Jesus fulfilled the law, that means that sacrifice is no longer needed to redeem sin, that was the whole point of his resurrection. he clearly states that the law is not abolished, meaning that when the OT tells us to kill gays and witches, that law is still in effect. Either way you have to pick and choose as you want from the bible...

However, Jesus took all sin upon Himself on the cross and was in hell for 3 days in our place. He then victoriously took the keys to hell, death and destruction and then gave us eternal life. God never changes. If something was a sin 6,000 years ago then it is still a sin today.

God is not your enemy. The devil, satan is your enemy. Because God loves you, He sent His Son so that you would not have to die for those sins you mentioned but be forgiven and receive eternal life in Heaven.

If so, did you have the faith to view this through a microscope for your evidence? If so, then you believe in mirrors and lenses. So use the same faith that took you over to the microscope (your parents, a biology teacher, a friend) and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. In most instances you will have immediate evidence or reasonably within a few hours or days.

You walk over and accept Him just the same as you did that first day you viewed the microscope. You didn't know before you walked over to it did you. Rather, it only recognized what the Bible very clearly taught in numerous chapters and verses throughout the entire Word of God and then simply systematized the doctrines. The Council did not change or even attempt to change anything whatsoever but only confirm what was there all along. So what’s the point of your comment exactly and what are you attempting to prove? And were you also referring to King James?

The NT reveals that God doesn't want man to fear but on the contrary leave fearful religious practices and embrace His love and Grace. The main difference between those writings deemed uninspired is that they place emphasis on mans works and worldly wisdom but the bible places the emphasis on man embracing Gods free gift in Christ.

Good question. A lot of ppl ask it and it states if you have read it, etc. and you turn on it, you are doomed but if you havn't heard or read it, you will be judged on other basis I suppose. It does also state tho during the end times in paticular the gospel will be spread all over the world. Prolly by those chosen ppl left behind that will carry his word across the globe. possibly the people who will be marked by God. Again prolly not a literal mark but you get the picture.

Not believing in a God is far worse than not getting the religion down right. What's so wrong with believing in an after life? If I live 70 yrs and die and there is no after life. believe me I use to scream the bible was fairy tales and make believe. Even then, even thinking they were make believe. I still believed they all had a point. The fact is we will never be able to prove it. For, we dont have the full picture to provide the full conclusion. Sure, we can come up with theories but if history tells us anything, about 90% of things that are believed to be true today, in 100 yrs it will be totally different. Why? For, we will know more and more of the bigger picture. We'll be able to conclude better, etc. Still, even then we still will not have the full picture. We never will.... until maybe death.
On top of that I dont see how you can relay on so much science to make you feel better that hey there is nothing there because I can not see it. You cant see the universe, how do you know its there? Besides sat. photots. Youre missing the point. We've only recently discovered theres different dimensions, 10 with each dimension having some other minute dimensions. So the possibilities are endless. We dont know squat about the MULTIverse so therefore how could we conclude on this matter?

The Old Testament is the foundation and includes what we actually deserve, however, now we live under the New Covenant. Jesus took your place and after His death on the cross took upon Himself the death penality for all sin but you must repent of your sins and accept His forgiveness.

You also reject the creation story and all of the commandments. what you're doing is picking and choosing what you want the bible to say, not what it actually says. Jesus(according to the bible) never says that the old law has been abolished. you might want to do some studying on the origins of the bible...

"Jesus" clearly states that the laws are still in effect. Also, if you are to reject the OT, you also lose the whole reason for the NT and the fall of man, the Ten commandments, the creation story, and the other myths. There's no way to be consistent on this issue if you're a christian...

You’re confusion is due to your lack of understanding that the Jesus became the ‘fulfillment of the law’ by His sacrifice on the cross and His blood. No law or demand of God has changed. The Old Testament is like the foundation of the house and the New Testament is the house itself. If you were to take away the foundation you would destroy the house. But you don’t live in the foundation, you live in the house. Hope this helps.

@giramino problem here is that I actually have studied the bible, my dad is a baptist minister and I've read and studied the bible many times. When it says that Jesus fulfilled the law, that means that sacrifice is no longer needed to redeem sin, that was the whole point of his resurrection. he clearly states that the law is not abolished, meaning that when the OT tells us to kill gays and witches, that law is still in effect. Either way you have to pick and choose as you want from the bible...

However, Jesus took all sin upon Himself on the cross and was in hell for 3 days in our place. He then victoriously took the keys to hell, death and destruction and then gave us eternal life. God never changes. If something was a sin 6,000 years ago then it is still a sin today.

If so, did you have the faith to view this through a microscope for your evidence? If so, then you believe in mirrors and lenses. So use the same faith that took you over to the microscope (your parents, a biology teacher, a friend) and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. In most instances you will have immediate evidence or reasonably within a few hours or days.

If the prophecy already says that Israel is fated to be beaten within an inch of its existence then why does he want America to get involved? He ought to know that intervention would be useless for effecting the outcome of a prophecy.

He speaks the truth. Those who disagree need to study the Bible more. All you have to do is watch the news and know the Bible prophecies are being fulfilled. Nobody could possibly imagine our world like this over 1000 years ago. That leaves one answer. God inspired prophets to write the Bible. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. He quotes from a British king’s “Version” of a bible which, even before his Version, was already so transliterated & edited from the original Aramaic, Greek, Latin and Hebrew that it bares little resemblance to those texts- on top of extreme censoring by The Concil of Nicea 700 yrs prior. The books omited from this Version are by no coincidence those that speak most of love & not fear-based, thus of no use to a church set upon scaring people into filling its pews and its coffers.

Rather, it only recognized what the Bible very clearly taught in numerous chapters and verses throughout the entire Word of God and then simply systematized the doctrines. The Council did not change or even attempt to change anything whatsoever but only confirm what was there all along. So what’s the point of your comment exactly and what are you attempting to prove? And were you also referring to King James?

Two-thirds of Christ teaching do not appear in the KJ Version: there are too many altered words, phrases and whole books to mention here. But for instance, in original Aramiaic, "to sin" simply to "miss the mark". I do not wish to alter beliefs; my intent is to let others feel a loving, and not a fear-based Creator.

It was about Arianism, the doctrine that the Jesus Christ the Logos was first entity created rather than preexistent and eternal. Emperor Constantine convened this council of bishops because he thought it politically expedient to have a unified Christian orthodoxy.

The NT reveals that God doesn't want man to fear but on the contrary leave fearful religious practices and embrace His love and Grace. The main difference between those writings deemed uninspired is that they place emphasis on mans works and worldly wisdom but the bible places the emphasis on man embracing Gods free gift in Christ.

If you have questions about religion, don't babble on here and take others advice. Research it for yourself or find the right person to talk to. Good question. A lot of ppl ask it and it states if you have read it, etc. and you turn on it, you are doomed but if you havn't heard or read it, you will be judged on other basis I suppose. It does also state tho during the end times in paticular the gospel will be spread all over the world. Prolly by those chosen ppl left behind that will carry his word across the globe. possibly the people who will be marked by God. Again prolly not a literal mark but you get the picture.

Your heart and how you are is what determines your entry into heaven. Now, I don't think hearing and reading the words of God and then rejecting him all together. Not believing in a God is far worse than not getting the religion down right. What's so wrong with believing in an after life? If I live 70 yrs and die and there is no after life. Oh well, I lived a good life but if there is a God, then think of how much I'd gain? Is the risk worth it? To risk eternal death over eternal life?

believe me I use to scream the bible was fairy tales and make believe. Even then, even thinking they were make believe. I still believed they all had a point. Thinking they were being created and told to make you think, etc. You can believe what you want brother. the bible said there was mountains and valleys under the sea. Sinai were God came down to give Moses the 10 commandments. It said God burnt part of the mountain from coming down to earth. Part of that MT. it darker than the rest. The rock Moses used his staff to crack for water is up there cracked down the middle. Crazyness. They think they found Noah's ark in Iran. Just use your science and prove the bible wrong. That's what happened to me and a friend. We went to prove the bible wrong and pretty much found God. There's hidden meanings and code in the bible alone. Now look and study at all the things the bible got right. I mean even currents in the ocean. We just find this out in the 1800's, yet the bible said it was there SOOO long ago. We thought the bottom of the ocean was like a contact lens upside down. The fact is we will never be able to prove it. For, we dont have the full picture to provide the full conclusion. Sure, we can come up with theories but if history tells us anything, about 90% of things that are believed to be true today, in 100 yrs it will be totally different. Why? For, we will know more and more of the bigger picture. We'll be able to conclude better, etc. Still, even then we still will not have the full picture. We never will.... until maybe death.

Most religions are acceptable and preach a positive message that we're all in this together and we should help and love one another. I wasn't aware that promoting attacking another nation (Iran) is GOOD. Using violence to fulfill a mindless and baseless 2000 year old fictional story is not my idea of GOOD. I'm sure it's yours and the other Hagee zombies.

No one knows what happens when you die. NO ONE. Not the Pope, the Clerics, the Rabbis or anyone else on this planet. It's one thing to have a gut feeling that there's "something". It's quite another to promote wars with other nations to fulfill ridiculous bible prophecies or to say that Hurricanes are caused by some supernatural being to punish a city for a gay rally. Look back in history and see how many 10's of millions have died in the name of religion.

Really? so the mainstream Christians do not believe that the world will come to some cataclysmic end related to some fictional stories in the book of Revelation?. The BELIEF in Christianity rests in the writings of the Bible which is merely a collection of stories from Middle Eastern writers compiled by men and spread by men. There's not one ounce of proof that any of these writings which span 1000 years were divinely created, and are no more valid than Greek Mythology, or the Egyptian gods

It's not pointless statements to point out the obsurdity of Hagees views and what they are based on, which is why I posted here to begin with. If you read my past comments you will see they are about the absurdity of Hagee himself and the absurdity of the origin of the Bible. It's not faith to believe in global destruction. It's not faith to believe that non-Christians will burn in Hell. It's not faith to promote wars and kill people so some ridiculous stories can come true. It's insanity.

no insanity is not believing in it but then worring about so much. talking about this guy and his statements is one thing , but the bible and christianity have nothing to do with it. kuz the bible doesnt say those things. now maybe the hell thing but thats the religion just like every other religion has there belief about what happens after death i have a question for you. not what do you think is after life but what do you wish happens after life?

Tell that to the guy that was dead for 3 days and already had been inbalmed but came back to life. As far as the hurricanes goes I guess we just got lucky.Yes christians have been persacuted alot.

I dont think we should favor a country over another that cause's problems for us. I think if a country has no reason to attack Israel and does it then we should declare war upon the aggressors not because we favor Israel but because we favor justice.

Would someone please help me out by answering a serious question? Didn't Jesus promise his apostles that he would return in their lifetimes? I'm an Atheist, but was Catholic, and I empathize for people who, like others for two millenia, have waited in vain for Jesus to return. The Jewish faith has waited much longer than that, and for the First Coming, to boot. Let us embrace each other now, regardless of who was supposed to free us; we can free ourselves if we listen to each other.

jaguerrero96, the truth is, Jesus did not promise to return during anyone's lifetime. What He did say is that 'nobody knows the exact hour or day, not even the Angels' and that we should always be ready for judgment. (There's much more in your inbox due to limited space here).

Amen! I doubt we have to wait 3 years for our King to call us up. I wouldn't be suprised if Jesus comes for his people in 2010. I know he is coming soon.

Praise the Lord that the end of days is nigh. I have been so discouraged about the prospect of having to live a full life in this decadent age of sin. I'm nearly 21 and I'm overjoyed that the Lord Jesus is returning. God bless all repentant believers! Amen indeed.

If the only people on earth were Muslims. They would be at war, and there would be no technology, no cars, no doctors, no rights, no nothing. If we gave Israel to the "Palestinians". it would be a desert in 20 years, and it's people would all be starving. Should we give Texas back to the Mexicans, (try telling a Texan' that)? Before Israel became a democratic free country in 1948 it was a dump. The city of Jerusalem was in very bad shape. It was as if no one cared for Israel anymore. Then came the mass migration of Israeli people. They beautified the city of Jerusalem and returned Israel to it's former glory. God bless you Israel. DON'T YOU EVER GIVE IN ISRAEL!!
