Just a quick tip Coe, but I found that using ladders sped up getting to the final flower box considerably. I was really suprised when I say my friends do it, but it was clever. Thought I would mention it so you could decide whether to keep it or not.

Can I use this idea to make a pvp map similar to Race for Wool, but instead, it's Race for Blocks, where they have to obtain Diamond, Gold and Iron?

@TheMinecraftDan Yeah you can. Even if there was a possible way to copyright a map genere within minecraft, the "complete the monument" genre wasn't even created by coe, it was made by vechs. Vechs encourages others to make their own "ctm" maps.

@JWbrasser No - the teams have been practicing with, and have an expectation of playing, Direct Fire. It would be way wrong to introduce a new map for the final without that being part of the tournament from the beginning. Perhaps my map will be added to the map pool for future tourneys, or maybe we can have a separate OWTourney. :P

The objective is to collect both the yellow and red flowers to make dyes to make an orange wool block to place on the victory monument. Yes the whole map is made from wool but there is no orange (they are pumpkins)

A great idea for a map and not deserving of all the haters hating! Vechs RFTW maps are great but both look about the same, Coes is all colourful and that!

@2Deis from what i've seen, the objective is to get an orange wool. there's a red and yellow flower which you use for orange dye, and there is no orange wool used on the map itself.

coa for future reference i think it would be cool i you put some unpredictable elements in a map like a switch that blows up both you bridge and the enemy bridge or a switch thats on a time so it has a 50% chance of giving you diamond or a 50% chance of blowing up something useful, what this would due is force both teams to be more flexible, say a team might plane on not doing it at first but if the find them self's behind the may have to consider the risk.
