  • At 6:05 he sounds like Bill Cosby

  • Watching this in 2012 when the Cosmos II have come out. Have to say the original Cosmos look more sleek.

  • Closed Captions. Please turn them on for a free comedy show.

  • Got mine in the mail. Got a screamin' deal on it. Can't wait!

  • cosmos s is better

  • Have to say it's one ofthe strongest cases I've found anywhere for the price and definatly can hold anything you throw at it.

  • Is there really only 1 cool air intake? Strange for a case that large.

  • me wants the new cosmos

  • Cant even hear the case fans over the noise of my pc.

  • 1. IT DOES have direct Hard Drive Cooling if you install the optional HD fan.

    2. It's TOO LARGE to make out of Aluminum. Steel if far better and prevents case tweaking and cracked motherboards, etc when moving it.

Please, get some speech lessons also.

  • @4Firearms LMAO

  • should i get the Special black edition or normal or coolermaster HAF X

  • Had this case for some time now, and I can say that it is worth every penny ($200 or so). It is quiet (when idle I can't tell if its on or off), large (gtx 570 fits fine), runs cool, looks great and pleasant to the tough. I am actually buying another one for future builds. Oh yea it does have 3 dust filters, 2 on the button and one on the rear (I vacuum them once a week ; )

I looked at Hafs and didn't like them (too plasticy for my taste)

  • No Dust Filters?

  • @Punkutatvidz

It has removable dust filters on the bottom for the PSU and the intake fan on the bottom front. The mesh plates on the front also have filters built in that you can rinse with water. I love my case. It's been really good

  • C/Master Cosmos S RC-1100 or C/Master Haf-X? no price range, whats a better case, i want lots of room and tons of fans.

  • This Case is like German Porn...Sexy,Agressive and Expensive I like it!

  • love the bloopers at the end, lol

  • i bought htis case and it makes enormous SOUND..need to change stock fans to more silent ones.

  • If you dont use OC it is worth replacing the existing fans?

    Thank you.

  • @PlayaIonel Why would you do that?

  • can this take full size gpu's

  • @ukIImyles of course it's a full tower

  • Comment removed

  • The NZXT Phantom Full Tower is moutch better cheaper lighter easyer to handle and have moutsh better ventelation i don't se ANY reason to buy this heavy shitload of krap

  • @lllTurralll This was 3 years ago...

Some people still consider buying it , but Cooler Master is changing this to the HAF X , Read the freaking description before talking about hardware in the future

  • I love it how it sometimes sounds like he's saying "Hi I'm Wodney Weynolds"

  • Aluminum? Aluminium.

  • @EarlZMoade It's called aluminum in the US

  • @esqueue yes because everyone knows america invented english....

  • @meh121 Please think for a bit before posting really stupid shit on youtube. The guy in the vid is most likely American. The origin of the english language doesn't change the fact that it is pronounced Aluminum in America. EarlzMoade made his post pretty much asking why is the guy saying Aluminum as opposed to aluminium. I told him the simple fact, no flaming, no being rude and no being a sarcastic prick with a major superiority complex and the inability to process a fucking simple sentence.

  • @esqueue Hahahaha, you take things way too seriously, you really should get laid ;), stop writing essays on youtube and go outside for once. Trust me, it's worth it!

  • Comment removed

  • If anyone can tell me where to get this 1000 model in Australia, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • @dstdave ROFL...to reset your pc maybe

  • I am a little confused, this case only have a intake fan at the bottom, just like Corsair Obsidian 800D. But Corsiars case got really high temperatures and got alot of negative critic for not having a sidefan. The intake fan at Corsairs case is 140mm and runs at 900rpm while the bottom fan at the Cooler Master is 120mm and runs at 1200rpm. So is the Cosmos bottom case fan better? I mean it rotares faster but is smaller. Or is it becuse the Cosmos includes two 120mm fans at the top?

  • what do you recommend the Cooler Master Cosmos, the Antec Skeleton, Or the Antec 1200

  • @oddysea682 haf x

  • @oddysea682 HAF X or dark fleet df 85

  • just curious but does the acoustic foam conduct heat? also the opening on the bottom for the PSU fan to draw in air from outside the case i was wondering if a corsair tx 750w can be installed with out any alignment issues. im asking this reason being, i've gone through a couple case's that doesn't align with this particular psu

  • i hate chunky plastic

  • what is reset used for?

  • I WAS SAD TODAY BUT THIS VIDEO ENDING MADE MY DAY LOOOOL

  • hahahahah EPIC ENDING

  • Does this case support asus rampage II gene??

And O he goes crazy at 5:20 WTF happened to him.

  • @JAGUAR1CE Cafeine kick's in

  • @JAGUAR1CE hes a robot thats all...

  • Do you think this is quieter than the Sileo model? Thanks.

  • the pencil is ALWAYS SHARP

  • Kinda wish i bought this one instead of Corsair Obsidian 800D

  • @Nefus2 The Corsair Obsidian 800D is better , don't regret not buying ...

  • @somerandomdude001 of course!!! You see how big it is!!!

  • Rodney you are too funny!! This case rocks

  • will this fit a radeon HD 5970??

  • @somerandomdude001 YEAH 100000%

  • hi kickass

i have ati 5770 with that case i bought it at RS.19000 PKR

  • That's one big mofo

  • um.. the power supply location seems to have a placement thingy there. So only certain sized psu can fit in? Wat size must the PSU be in order to fit in that case?

  • Serious question. What are drive bays for? Do they include the hard disk as well? If its only for the optical drive why would anyone want to have seven dvd players?

  • @MrJackanthony the external drive bays can be used for optical drives, fan controllers, floppy disk, card reader, ETC..

while the internal ones are for hdd.. and no they dont come with hard disk LOL..

  • @kidowner THanks. I didn't mean to ask whether they come with hard disks lol. I meant is that where you mount them. So what does an expansion board do? Thanks again and bear with my stupidity.

  • @MrJackanthony hey no problems..i can see ur just a newbie on these stuff and need some help..

yes the internal drive bays are for hdd.. the outside ones are for optical drives, etc

the expension boards.. u mean at the back? well those are for before putting a videocard, soundcard, network card, etc. u have to remove them so u put that one instead and install them with either a thumb screw, normal screw, or a tooless installment(depending on the type of case.. as it comes with either of those)

  • @kidowner Thanks.

  • @MrJackanthony NP. if u need any other help just ask :)

  • @kidowner Thats very kind of you kid owner:) I might take u up on that.

  • @MrJackanthony oke :p but dont call me that way, thats my old name and i dont wanna do a new account to just change name..(im not a kid anymore:P)

  • @kidowner lol sorry. Hw about adult owner then:) See Im trying to build a gaming pc since its common sense that you'll get more for the money that way. Im actually not a complete noob mut Im more geared to software. Heres a question do you think ssds are worth it? or should I go with a standard hard drive and spend the extra on something else?

  • @MrJackanthony np

well most guys say that ssd's arent worthy of buying since they have such little improvement for all that money. personally if u set ur ssd to boot drive and for some major applications is good. i suggest getting the OCZ vertex which is one of the best bang for buck ssd..they are about 100euro..thats if u can afford buying a 100euro drive :p

  • @kidowner I see. Well Ill look into it. most kingston and intel ssds are around $500. I was also thinking of etting a 10k rpm drive. apparently they are fast too.(At least more than the 7200)

  • @MrJackanthony well.. if u get ssd.(no need 128GB ones. 30GB is enough for windows and some applications.. well 10k rpm drives are also good. but if u do for example 2 caviar blacks sata 3(not sata2) in raid 0, u will spend less money and gets u more bang for buck.. the options are urs tho

  • @MrJackanthony but! if u only intend of getting one drive then i suggest only a hdd, if u go ssd and hdd then do the hdd for games etc..while ssd for boot and some major applications

  • hahaha @ the end

  • i have this cheakout my video of my rig on my channel

  • @Eclipezz Sweet rig:)

  • I bought this case and it is very heavy!

  • This guy speaks very very quickly at the end... :) I couldn´t do that...

  • hahaha, an old Rodney vid, never seen this before, hey Rodney if your reading this you should include the cheesy outtakes =P

  • lol 6:40-645

  • im trying to decide to get this one or the cosmos S

  • @BLACKOUT319 Omg me too im TORN in which to decide. What i like about the 1000 is hard drive bays and feel of it. The Cosmos S has a more Gamer badass look and a lot more airflow with the 200 mm fan sadly though they got rid of the cool hard drive bays cosmos S and replaced them with crappy ones.

  • same- both look so good.

  • HAVE THIS CASE A MODEL WITH WINDOW ?

  • @XVAGOSX1

I have not seen a model that comes with a side window, but you can buy it separately at newegg . c o m or ebay

  • @XVAGOSX1 you can buy cosmos 1000 and after buy the panel with the window

  • With this case I dont need to go to gym anymore ! SmartBuy !

  • How big grapic card can i have in this case??

    Plz Help!

  • @Xfacehack 47cm max :D

  • @Xfacehack any lol its a full size ATX case :D

  • @Xfacehack This case can accommodate the largest graphic cards that are out now. The latest most bad ass cards are 11 inches long. This case can handle a 15 inch or less card.

I've had this case two years. It's a very nice case!

  • Full size i.e. an ATi Radeon HD 5970 will fit

  • about 37cm... yeah it fits a HD5970, if is that what you want to know.. had the same question than you weeks ago...

  • LIKE ATI 5870...

  • Can i put a rad in the top? iff so what size?

  • So i got a question, can u do 2x 120 mm fans mounted right there on the video and put 2x 140 mm fans above the case? Like so it can do a push pull configuration? Does anyone get what i am saying?

  • @DreamRaider1111

Bottom and front fans are intake and back and top are out.

  • No i mean the top fan are 120mm right? So is it possible that we can put up to 4 fans that same area. 2x 120 mm fans as shown in the video and put 2x 140mm as well in that same area but above the case where they have the cover thing on.

  • i dont thing there is a front fan... its

    2x top

    1x rear

    1x bottom

but there is one for the hard drives

  • Is this case the same now as it was in 2007? I mean have there been any improvement?

  • They came out with the 1010 version but its been discontinued.

  • @TheMadOrc why is the 1010 discountinued?

  • Dunno just is but you can buy a side door from it which has more ventilation.

  • He didnt mention anything about if there's room for a 140.2 under the top lid. Thats what I would like to know.

  • 2 stroooooooooong large barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs

  • @callmemarc Drama is almost always fun isn't it? lol

  • @callmemarc 2 moooore large barrrrrrrs

  • Comment removed

  • @callmemarc 2 moooore laarge baars

  • fan..tastic get it......fan

  • 3GM . . . Quality, respect. 5/5

  • why do case manufacturers even bother to put i/o panels

  • What was with the speed in the end @5:22. Slow down man, great review.

  • I know you can mount a water cooling radiator at the inside top of the cosmos s 1100 case, but can you mount a water cooling radiator at the inside top of the cosmos 1000? please respond

  • @GT2REXR yes u tard he said u could

  • There's Cosmos Pure which is all black. Is the Pure exactly the same as this Cosmos? Except for the colours?

  • indeed, it has no difference except a 100% price premium because it's black -_-

  • So the Cosmos Pure is all black from Cosmos 1000? Not Cosmos S?

  • exactly, it's an all-black 1000, check it out in their site, not the coolermaster-usa, but the coolermaster global site.

I think appart from the black colour is that the pure is all aluminum, but check the site better

there's also a CM690 pure and that's even more baffling as i can't see any difference

  • yes, the black is physically the same, but i think it is full aluminum.

  • nice review, thank you!

  • I seen many case reviews, and this one, in my opinion, is the best design (looks from the exterior).

I do agree that all aluminum would have been nice, and would like to add an all black interior is almost a demand these days.

Toss up between this, 840s and Corsair Obsidian 800d

  • lol. 3:20 ,just slip the drive into the drive.

  • Oh my.

  • I have this case.

    1) Yes, Cooler Master sells the side panel with a window on Newegg.

  • Do the bars at the top reduce challenge of moving the case? I mean it´s 17kg.

  • The handles are insanely sturdy but don't expect to take this case to too many LAN parties. It will garner a lot of attention from your jealous friends though... ^_^

  • Well that is what I want, I want to impress with a nice looking case. But is it easy to lift despite it´s weight?

  • Sorry if I was too vague when I said that you WOULDN'T be taking it to too many LANs, but yes is very annoying to carry around. I'm afraid to even put it on my kitchen table when I have to open the case and fiddle with it's innards! It's that heavy.

  • Sadly, I'm going to have to take this to LAN parties. Although, I doubt it's any heavier than my current case...

I'm looking forward to showing it off though. =P

  • @Buzzap14 hope u don brake ur hand.arms carrying this thrash case LOL

  • @roketmode

No, no, I doubt I will (since I've taken it to LAN parties multiple times).

It's not trash, either- it's well designed, and excellently manufactured.

  • @Buzzap14 LOL joking

  • @roketmode

    :/

  • 2) I found that leaving the side panel just a crack open will intake air improving air-flow. I have nothing but 120mm Antec Tri-Speed fans all set to high in every bay on this case and it will still get hot with SLI or Crossfire configurations when running an intensive game for more than an hour or so. Ambient temps drop 10c when I crack open the side!

    3) The sound of those fans IS indeed silenced by this case. I have the standard side panels, and my ceiling fan is louder than this thing LOL.

  • I am getting this case and just wondered, when gaming with a Heat Sink, would it be good to open the side panel for better ventilation or would that not make any difference?

  • Having the side panel open would actually make ventilation worse. The case uses negative pressure to cool, and removing the side panel would stop air flow to the components

  • is ther an aftermarket or other side panrl with window for this?

  • yup

  • An optional fan can be mouned at the side of the HDD bay? Read a review on amazon that the harddrives get very hot becuse of the bad ventilation.

  • I have good solution if it is to heavy to take with on a lan party. Just go to the gym and get some exercise and build some muscles.

  • Yes, indeed, or just take the case around wherever you go... That should help build muscle.

  • @Nefus2 + nobody will sucessfully steal it LOL

  • nice tan

  • No wonder the Mac PRo is so expensive other than for the parts. It's An all aluminum case with ventilation throughout the WHOLE FRONT!

  • out-takes were priceless

  • I'm hesitating between the pure black version of this case and the Lian-Li PC-X2000 for my next computer, do you people have any good advice here?

  • get this one if you can think of a way of cooling the hdds

  • thanks :)

  • np :)

  • Esse FDP fala rapido demais... tomar no cu

  • LLOL @ ending

  • man your reviews are the best. Thank you.

  • Damn this one is silent. i got a cheap cas ethat sounds like airplane when i boot my computer up. And the best part, it only got 1 fan.

  • lol

  • which 1 has better cooling??

    antec 902 or this???

  • The Antec 902 But the Antec 1200 is alot better hope this helps

  • They're very different cases, the 902 is a mid tower so it's alot smaller aswell. Cooling is better than the cosmos because it's more geared towards gaming though it is quite crowded

  • Cooling isn't better because it's geared toward gaming, it's better because the Antec has more, faster fans than the Cosmos, including the Antec BigBoy fan.

Also, the Antec doesn't have as much room to push air through, so the fans don't need to be as strong. Where the Cosmos shines is its ability for water cooling.

  • It has more/faster fans because it is geared towards gaming, what's the point in your statement.

  • Gaming has nothing to do with the amount of fans... Antec didn't make the cooling better because it's geared purely at gaming - it's an enthusiast's case; not purely for use for gamers, people who have workstation rigs, etc., would make great use of this case.

  • Except that it's marketed as the 'ultimate gamers case' and it has the extra vga fan slots becasue it is assumed that people who buy it will be using large gpu's. How is that not why it has superior airflow?

  • I love you reviews! :D Very informative and not like other review that just skim threw it. :)

  • nice outtakes, you seem to have fun filming yourself lol

  • nice ending!

  • nice pencil

  • LOL!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha funny ending! wish you would do that more!

  • He did in all his old videos. He kind of went professional (and high quality) now, so he doesn't in his new vids.

  • still funny very funny

  • many places to put led fans in that case best case i love it!

  • one of the most good looking case ever.

  • is the expansion slots tool-less?

  • i laughed mad loud when at the guy said to hear the noisy at around 4:30. There is nothing lol.

  • This case is louder then a coolermaster Stacker 830 with stock cooling actually.

  • The out takes are hilarious XD

  • I love it when he says "Listen to the stock cooling" Click...no sound.

  • My only complaints are the weak stock fans, weight (HEAVY), and the weak magnet for the panel in front.

The cable management isn't an issue if you have a lot of zip-ties and don't route anything through the hole above the mobo as seen at 4:00. The only thing that fits there is excess fan wire. I used the 2 holes on the side to hide extra molex and the hole underneath was used for pci-e power cables and misc cables I don't use.

  • Do you know the CFM, DB, and RPM stats for the stock fans?

  • CFM is most likely in the realm of 30-35 from what I can tell in comparison to my other fans. DB, i don't know, but they are too loud considering they don't move enough air for this case. RPM tops out at 1800-2000.

All in all, you're going to NEED new fans. This is NOT a suggestion. This is fact. I recommend 2 - 120mm Antec TriCool fans for the top panel and one for the rear exhaust. As for the intake fans, the stock are okay but if you're not considering putting in any extra video cards.
