  • now this is how you get a work out. lOL

  • I will hate to get bitten my a mastiff

  • Look at the size of that beast...lol!!!

  • That's a lot of dog.

  • WHO killed your husband last week?!?

  • HOly crap is that a cougar?

  • new grlfrnd has a female says is 235lbs. she got from the vet office she works at as pup. is 41/2 y/o.Been a month & she won't let me in till GF opens door. can't sit nxt 2 GF, puts huge head btwn us.In a park is plyfl & nice, home vry protectve of master&property. I'm kinda skinny 5'9 135lb. GF is inch shrtr maybe 30lbs hvier.so dog may think I'm the runt. Like dog but when GF left me w/her for dental appt dog sat guard till GF rtrnd. Huffed whn I got up. Hope she trsts me soon B4 she eats me

  • Good dog, and YOU must harden the fuck up.-

  • That is a horse

  • @Jordswai hes a DOG you idiot! any vet will tell you its the right thing for the animal's health and well being if hes not going to breed.

  • Good demonstration for how powerful the mastiff can be.

    Thanks for the film.

  • how many POUNDS is he?

  • @69spoone 100 kilos

  • I got gum.

  • hes a male

  • You have a beautiful English, If you get a chance check out some of my videos. How old is your female, I'm sure you already know this, but just in case English should not be breed/bread (never know how that should be) until their at least 3 years old. I rescued one that the x-owner said she was ok to bread at 1 year, it basically killed her, it took two years, but it messed us her hips & her body. I live in Arlington Texas & have a year old male, he may already be proven.

  • The dog is barely even pulling. Its weight is doing most of the work.

  • I want to breed my female English Mastiff to a worthy stud !!!

  • @jkcsr90

Also, that's a beautiful dog you got there. Mine is now 10 months and just over 70kg. I've started varying his food a little, he's been on formulated shit since I got him. He's really tall and heavy build, just like yours, paws already as large as my hands. Best dogs ever. :)

  • @jkcsr90

Ah should have explained myself better. Of course I understand why neutering is practiced, and it does good in the long run. But my english mastiff can never leave the yard unsupervised, in fact i'd pay a great big fine if he was prancing around the neighbourhood without a leash.

He also can't escape the yard due to huge fence and lock on entry gate, and sleeps inside the house anyway.

In fact he wouldn't wonder off 10m from any of us even if he could, a real magnetic dog lol.

  • yes he killed my husband last week

  • @ponti454 for real? that dog killed your husband? 0.o

  • @TheSouthpaw1993 no of course not, he wouldnt hurt a fly

  • @ponti454 lol okay. I was just making sure haha :p

  • To the owner of this monster. Errr....how do you even win a game of tug o' war with a dog of this stature? And if this is the case, why even play? The dog is going to "win" every time, and dog play at any age is just dominance assertion behavior. One day, this dog is going to rip your throat out. You should chain it to a pole in your yard and feed it dry bones. And when it is nearly mad from hunger, feed it. It will know you are the alpha dog. You are welcome.

  • Hello

one question... how old get dogs like enlish mastiffs normaly? Giant breeds like them don´t get very old i know but is a age of 10+ years normal or rarely?

  • I'm keeping my one with balls, even though he may never breed, He was born with them, might as well retain them.

  • the little one is the boss

  • @ponti454 He looks more like the referee! lol

  • how do your two dogs get along?

  • how is he now that he's a little older? Does he still like to play and how active is he?

  • is that nick that worked for metro trains?

  • dman big Oo.

  • Too bad you didn't let him keep his balls!

  • @SpazzzDog hes a pet not a breeder so why would i

  • @ponti454 Well, if he isn't a breeding dog then just don't do it. That doesn't justify surgery imo. I didn't put my dog through that and he lived 9 very happy years. It makes a big difference, and I think unneutered males look better developed as adults vs. being snipped early in life.

  • hì_ÁNY_güÿs_wäñt_tÔ_chÀt_with_mé

  • this dogs bite is stronger than a grey wolf reaching 558lbs. thats the equilalent of a baby lion!

  • misleading text!! thats no dog thats a bear!!!! XD i love it!

  • Didn't know Rob Halford had a mastiff.

  • LET THE WOOKIE WIN!

  • Too funny that's one big dog lol

  • Something tells me the dog usually wins! Haha. Mastiffs are awesome!

  • That's right akafivedolla he's an English mastiff

  • It takes a strong man to handle a 198lb dog. That looks like a good workout.

  • so true!

  • when playing tug a war, make it a 1 to 2 win, you win twice, or dog wins once. They will learn that your the boss that way and also feel special when they do win. mastiffs are the best breed of dog, for all ages, young and old.

  • which one is the mastiff? lmao

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRealAwesomologist bull mastiffs dont grow this big, hes an english trust me

  • @ponti454 yea mine is more big but its a english mastiff watch my vids

  • @TheRealAwesomologist definatly not a bull mastiff

  • @TheRealAwesomologist he's definitely an english mastiff, bull mastiffs don't grow that big and have a different head conformation

  • rob halford hahaha

  • he wouldnt hurt a fly

  • @ponti454

I think, the bigger a dog, the more likeable are they...

I got a small one and I always saw small ones fight, bite and so on...

I want to get a Mastiff or a Doberman...would be pretty awesome in the future xD

  • @Cerbix6 i used to have a doberman, they are beautiful natured dogs and great with kids believe it or not

  • @ponti454 Are they easy to train?Because I would like to get one someday.

  • that dog could kill a man with no problem... look at the size of his head... and i´ve heard that the strength of the english mastiff is about 300 punds...

  • i have always been fascinated by these dogs. once upon a time dogfighting was kind of wussy, so they pit them vs bears instead. good thing they seem to have removed the aggressive gene. otherwise many owners wouldve been eaten

  • any kind of dog fighting makes me sick. hes a big baby and yes you wouldnt want a dog this size with a nasty streak. hes so powerful i cant remember how many leads and chains he's snapped on walks.

  • @ponti454 but are they still good guard dogs? do they stilll have ferocity towards strangers? or are they just lovable mascots everyone can pet? i bet you spend a huge sum on dog food.

  • @gagongromy they make excellent gaurd dogs. thye are very self assuring dogs and their size is very intimidating. think about it.. would you go tangle with a dog that is as big/if not bigger than you and, could easily eat you?

  • Comment removed

  • @ponti454

I can definitely attest to that. I had one of those "large breed" nylon chest harnesses. My neapolitan mastiff tore the nylon.

  • @gagongromy they didint fight them against bears. they used them for hunting bears.

  • @gagongromy There is NO SUCH THING as an aggressive gene. Dogs do what they are trained to do. If their A-hole owner trains them to fight, fighting is what they do. Plain and simple.

  • Boof looks amazing. My 4 month old is that colour.

  • what a workout!!

  • what type of dog is the other dog?

  • your mastiff makes the lab look frail and small.

  • look at the chin on the beast!

  • Awww, that's so cute.

  • ponti454 you have an amazing and gorgeous dog.

  • I use to have a Old English Mastiff and i use to play tug of war a lot with him also. he was red just like your's.

  • i bet his poop is huge

  • wahahahahahaaa what a cute pile of muscles *gggg* moaning an groaning to tell you not to stopp wahahahaha .... nice dog .... do you have a vid of boof trying to be a lapdog *ggggg*

  • you havent got a clue what your talking about so go play with your lap dog

  • your dog is well unfit over weight!! i know !! its not right you know.. 100kg mastiff is spoof.. any1 with 1 should be ashamed of making a powerfull muscular dog fat lame and pudgy.. sorry!!

  • @nickernosher

that dog is not fat; it's herculean!

  • @nickernosher If it was fat and overweight why would it play retard it wouldnt be bothered about playing retard

  • @ThePoohBooBear look shit head.. the dog is overweight.. why is that so hard for you to comprehend.. i have a friend with champion breed mastiffs and i myself have ridgbacks.. both large breeds.. but in the case of the mastiff and also rottweilers bothe need to be kept lean.. im not gona tell you why ill let you figure that out when your heart falls out your ass when the vet tells you something you don't wana hear.. i love dogs.. i care for them and they live long and healthy sorry for careing

  • my pitbull es mas pequeño pero mas fuerte

  • the little one is the boss, dont worry about him

  • i feel sorry for your other dog when they play tug of war together, that big english mastiff must throw him around!

  • not a smart thing to do!!we were told by our vet NEVER to play tug of war with our mastiff, Elvis, since it can actually cause bloat and kill the dog!

  • @jawboneless whatever

  • @jawboneless

You must be a bloated dogkiller. No wonder your vet told you off. Lol.

  • @jawboneless what smack head vet told ya that

  • @jawboneless

    lol wat

  • Great looking dog, Ponti.. Awesome. My yellow lab is a dwarf compared to this big boy

  • Looks like he isn't even trying lol!!. What's he like around the kids?

  • It looks fun but it brings bad memories for me, years ago my little dog was almost killed by a dog like yours, taken at one of his back legs and shaken like a wet rag, then the dog threw him away, it took 2 months for him to get well again. A few days after I got him back from the vet hospital I carried my dog to the place it happened and let him interact with other dogs, just to show him that he has nothing to fear of. It paid off, he loves everyone and his favourite girlfriend is a mastiff :)

  • he is HUGE, tho

  • i cant beleive the size of this thing next to a lab my neighbour has a lab and it seems huge it might be a cross though becaause its built like a mastiff but looks like a lab

  • Boof? Nis name is BOOF?

    That's FANTASTIC

  • @7145159

  • hes a mut from the pound

  • Gorgeous dog and the litte one wants to play, too ;-) But has noooo chance! :-P Want to cuddle boof, big Teddybear ;-)

  • o el mastin no usa toda su fuerza o ese pelon es muy fuerte

  • why is that horse trying to steal your rope?

  • i love english mastiff i have 3 of them and the biggest one is huge he is almost 3 and he is over 200 pounds but he is NOT fat he is just tall

    love your dog

  • what kinda do is the tan one?it looks exactly like my dog who is a germen shperd/pit bull.

  • thats a big ass dog

  • that dog is just being nice to u and let u win, i dont think u have a chance towards mamut there hehe

  • wow that is a nice dog hes freaken HUGE! =D

  • He isn't even trying!

  • where can ifind one of these and how much would it cost?

  • great dog man. I am 1.90 cm and 130 kilo's, so I will need a bigger dog ! :) But this dog looks amazing, if I would get a dog, this is the one!

  • May I ask what brand of dog food you feed him? A friend of mine has an American Bulldog and its just a little smaller than your Mastiff yet he is still huge compared to average dogs of his breed. My friend feeds his dog Pedigree and claims it's what helped him grow so large.

  • the vet told me it doesnt matter what you feed them because they are like people and will grow to what their genes are meant to be

  • @ponti454 i would find a new vet. food is very important, especially for a large breed dog. you need a good large breed puppy forumula, it allows them to grow at a steady pace and avoid growth spurts. growth spurts can lead to joint problems and arthritis. Please dont ever feed pedigree, it is full of corn, fillers, artifical colors, animals digest, not good at all.

  • @KenDzel2 i feed my mastiff purina one large breed...

  • he's a beautiful boy :P

  • oh thanks, what about the dog

  • @ponti454 hahaha!

  • my wife and i just got an english mastiff pup this week...he's so tiny now i cant imagine him at 200 lbs

  • aw adorable, I've always wanted an english mastiff. Their monstrous size is appealing to me :D

  • You should upload more vids he;s s cute and im getting a female.

  • My big boy loves to play tug. Best dog I've ever had! Before I got him I thought he would be a big dumb ass but I was wrong he is so smart!

  • I have 4 3 are male and the other is female two are bentley and kitty they are 200+pounds. they are happy and protectve of are property and me. we have 40 ac they are verry gentle but can be agressive when they need to be. The pyreness we have will beat up on them however.

  • Jesus Christ thats a huge dog. Pulling a fully grown man around like that

  • hhahaha i have a english mastiff nd she is 174 at 2 yrs. her mom ws 230 and her dad ws 280 lbs. werid. its crazy she is scared of da dark hahaha

  • i would be scared it would take my arm off lol

  • I keep telling my parents when we move out I'm getting a English Mastiff. I want a big strong dog :). How much does he eat?

  • playin tugowar with dogs make them more aggresive!!

  • @purav03 not always, used to have 230lb mastiff alot of years ago and we played tug and fought on the floor all the time, was the most loyal and placid dog i have known,

as with any dog, aslong as they are well trained and know who is boss then you have no problems having a bit scrap with them, its good for the dog and owner, think of it as a bonding session

  • i was goin to get one but since there army house were only aloud to have two pets so the ladys neibor who had the dogs told cops so they took them to the pound

  • how did u get him so big?

  • ITS BIGGER THAN U!!!.... DAMN!!!!

  • @ponti454

how high is he at the shoulders lol

  • Nice video and tht dog is HUGE!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice dogs

  • You're going to have dominance issue on your hands if you continue playing tugowar with a dog!

  • i wish! hes 4 now and the most timid dog ive ever known to the point of being pathetic. you would have a point it he were a pitt or similar, but breeds like these and also dobermans need a few minutes of confidence now and then, they are big babies - dont believe everything you hear

  • @ponti454 absolutely agree, ive owned a couple and their "dominance" issues are non existence, they are lushes. Dominance issues come from poor upraising, not tug of war

  • Once you own a mastiff you never want any other dog! Their so gentle and don't know their size, it's funny because they'll try to fit inside small doggie doors and things like that. And when they lay down they have those funny legs they don't know what to do with.

  • Proof that dogs and their owners are the same. In this case, big and strong.

  • I LOVE ENGLISH MASTIFFS!!!!! I wanna eventually get one...I'm gonna name him GUS...

  • like pauly seniors dog from american chopper

  • dog looks kind of on the hefty side..... looks lazy

  • Beautiful dog! I used to have a Neapolitan Mastiff, I loved her to death, she was amazingly loyal and only sounded mean. Her and my old American Pit Bull terrier were horrible guard dogs! Sure she would bark but I caught kids in my backyard more times than I could count.

  • new youtube sucks :| i cant write anything

  • where did you get a bear? Lol..

  • I had an english mastiff growing up.. he got loose a few times on our 50 acres and old boy would be gone all day but be back on our porch at sun down. awesome dogs.

  • I love mastiffs my only complaint is that they don't live very long :(

  • mastiff best dogs....

  • Mastiff are the best doges ever. I have one and he is 3 years old and if he sees something he will let us know, becase he barks loud and brufly. thank you

  • oops wrong video

  • on a random wednesday this couple found out a lie and a truth. DUN DUN DUN! but seriously this is sad =(

  • haha he makes that retriever look tiny! Nice looking dogs man

  • What a BIG beautiful dog :) I own 2 females, an almost 2 yr old fawn and a 11 week old brindle female puppy, they are great dogs, and very protective of their family especially kids. I also own a bullmastiff, which is an awesome dog also. I wouldn't own any other breed, I am very parcial to them all (mastiff breeds).

  • i had a boxer years ago and thats why i went for the big version, they are also a great loyal dog

  • He is 1 big boy!!Has some set of mitts on him! They seem to have such a great temperament. My friend has 1 and at first glance I was scared to death of him (Raptor) but he is such a big mush. Has a problem with rawhide bones and swallows them whole so he had 2 stop giving them 2 him.lol..I wish I had the yard for a pup that size ;-(

  • Amazing! They huge but great with people and children! i would LOVe to have one

  • The real world strongest dog breed! I can't believe idiots think pitbulls are stronger. It makes me scratch my head! Awesome dog im definatly jealous!

  • i hate it more when they want to argue over which dog would win a fight, why would anyone want to see their dog fighting, people like that make me sick!

  • nice dog very strong.

I saw a mastiff in the vetinary's office and i was like:WTF IS THAT?!! its head is so huge that it could hunt down hyenas and maybe win.

That is no offense to hyenas but Goddam:If i saw that dog i would definately be worried.

I used to play with a saint bernard named greta and she was strong and didn't even know her own strength.

She would accidentally hurt me while playing rough.

  • @ponti454 i couldn't agree more with this statement. I see those type of comments on pitbull video's (people judging other people's pitbulls and dogs based on how well they thinkt he dog woul hold up in a fight). It pisses me off to no end, WHO CARES? THese dogs are family pets, not abused and trained to fight for their life. I HATE DOG FIGHTERS. It breaks my heart

  • @Dimmuborgir132000 Aaah, I know. That pisses me off like nothing else. It's like..nobody even asks these random douchebags about which dog would win in a fight, the videos are not about that and they still blabber on about it. It just makes me worry about creeps overflowing the world, and all of us ending up with more idiots than normal people. o_O I see them discussing this shit and I just think...wtf, who raised those bizarre people? Were they born stupid?

  • @Ow3n4NFFC that dog will shit on a rotrweiler

  • i love english mastiffs. i wouldnt want to get on the english mastiff's BAD side. He would probrobly tear me apart

  • lmao.. it's the dog from Sandlot

  • I read where you said the kids don't come in your yard...what they don't understand is that this is a gentle giant and he wouldn't dare to hurt them.

  • you are exactly right, the little lab is the one to be afraid of. when i look at mastiffs all i see are big lovable babies because they are
