I think AhmekKhmer suffers from intergenerational trauma as his parents were Khmer Rouge or victims of Khmer Rouge and he suffers from a lack of love in his life. Parents who are suffering from post traumatic stress often unconsiously pass many of these traits to their kids. It often gives them a clouded world view. I can still see the effects of this in Cambodia and as the new generation emerges they are beginning to break free from this.

Then after Hanoi seized control of Cambodian Islands a 2 months later? Khmer Rouge was created with an agreement from Pol Pol and Hanoi to overthrow the Lon Nol gvmt. There were two groups of KR, one runned by Pol Pot and the other Hanoi but in general Pol Pot was just a puppet that Hanoi was controlling until he resisted.

I think AhmekKhmer suffers from intergenerational trauma as his parents were Khmer Rouge or victims of Khmer Rouge and he suffers from a lack of love in his life. Parents who are suffering from post traumatic stress often unconsiously pass many of these traits to their kids. It often gives them a clouded world view. I can still see the effects of this in Cambodia and as the new generation emerges they are beginning to break free from this.

The Khmer Rouge killed Vietnamese living in Cambodia and invaded southern Vietnam in attempt to re-claim for Khmer territory. During this invasion it killed thousands in Vietnam. Then, after Vietnam retaliated by invading Cambodia, the USA clandestinely supported the Khmer Rouge against the Vietnamese. This is not secret or disputed information.

In 1975, the Khmer Rouge captured power over the US supported Lon Nol government. Thus began a nightmare which saw Cambodian killing Cambodian.
The killings only stopped after Vietnam invaded Cambodia in 1979 as a result of a border dispute.
Many people say Vietnam should not have invaded Cambodia. However, history revealed that this act saved the Cambodians from further killings by the Khmer Rouge.
