Early Japanese swords were direct copies from Tang Chinese swords. These swords were straight double edges. When Japanese predecessors of samurai warriors began to fight from horseback, the swords were changed to curved single edged. These long-bladed crurved swords were known as tachis. The tachis were the predecessor of the now renown katana swords. The tachis were also the model for various types of Japanese curved swords.

Saying Yuan is Chinese, is like saying Ilkhanate is persian. On the other hand, I consider Tang dynasty as a Chinese dynasty. Although Tang emperors had some mixtures with Xianbei on the maternal side, they are still considered Chinese because their paternal lineage came from Chinese.
And unlike the barbaric mongol Yuan and manchu Qing, Tang contributed to the development of Chinese culture. Tang poems are still taught in Chinese schools.

Why are you chinks such dumb asses! Mongols were second class in Qing dynasty and was most dominant in the military, the Qing emperors married Mongolian empress and had great respect for the mongols. Mongols fully accepted Qing annexation and Mongols make the bulk soldiers during the manchu conquest of China. You chinese are the result of complete conquer through war. Chinese were the bottom class in Qing dynasty and was banned from intermarriage with the Emperors and Manchus.

Stupid conquered chinese, Mongols were treated with respect compared with Chinese. Who were slaves? we weren't the ones who go million massacred or treated with little respect by manchus like the chinese were. You Chinks still think that Qing dynasty is yours even after Manchu massacre of Chinese population, and forcing you to adopt their hair style.
