yea i have it, its fantastic, they sound great on it.....however, its pretty pathetic when marc has to help the fans with delicate few because they dont know the lyrics haha. But overall, i was really happy with rain or shine...felt good to have OAR back right? haha

just saw the band at Merriweather Post in Columbia, Md. Show was AMAZING... I am a new (old ) fan... heard Shattered and went back for a listen to all the old stuff, and have become a huge fan. They have evolved in a good way... good guys who deserve it. P.S. discoverd I know Marc's mom, indirectly! She was sweetenough to answer me when I asked!

Also don't forget, it's not really a fair comparison when you compare All Sides to say, Any Time Now. Live and studio are two completely different things. The studio versions of older songs are really pretty bad before IBNAT came out in '03. I would hold judgement on All Sides until they hopefully make a live CD with many of its songs included. I only cared for 52-50, Heard the World and Lay Down off SOAS, but I have to admit most any song from that album is good live(except the stranger)

All Sides is getting too much hate, people are judging it because of Shattered. There are many good songs on there, especially Whatever Happened, This Town, War Song, The Fallout, On My Way and Living in the End. I would put Shattered as one of the lesser songs on the CD, but its still not an awful song...it's just different. Hopefully many people will hear it and go and check out their older stuff as well.

I'm not hating on it just because of shattered. Why they chose that song to popularize I will not know. To be honest This Town is probably the only good song on that album in my book and I guess war song.

It's far from the best song on the album....but it's the most radio appealing. They are probably hoping people who hear Shattered will give their other stuff a listen and buy prior albums and buy tickets to see shows. It's a fairly smart move. I'm surprised you don't like Whatever Happened, maybe you didn't catch it live, I thought it was incredible. I think the album as a whole is very good.

i completely agree with u. All sides is getting way too much hate for an album that i've been listening to since it came out and i still listen to, it's just as good as any other album O.A.R. has made in my opinion

wow i love this song and TOTALLY agree with jetzeppelin2h !!! i love them and will always be a fan (well, of their old music at least) and i saw them last month in concert at ruth eckerd hall and was surprised (and increadibly happy) to hear this song!! but watever i LOVE O.A.R. amazingly much!!

I don't know why they don't play "City on Down" in Chicago. I was at their last two shows in Chicago and COD wasn't played at either. I guess there was also an acoustic performance of Marc and Richard and COD wasn't played at that either. Their shows are awesome, but I gotta hear COD at my third one.
