One of the Seattle papers also did a story on some kind of 'vision aiding' gear for another branch of the military, and the story is practically the same. Branch of service didn't want them, and doesn't use them, the only folks that profited were Sen Murray and her contributer.
One page limitation on all bills would fix problems like this...no room for earmarks.
