Great video,, the GG-1 horn is terrific.. Never rode this car but did ride the 4666 on the BR&W and the NH&I. Also rode one from Camden to Pemberton in 1962. Can't make out the number in my slides.
Thank you so much for this video. I built an O scale Brill M-250 doodlebug a few years ago, these things are RARE and now I've got to go see this one. Could you please post a bit of info about it? How does the engineer control it for reverse moves, yet keep the doors clear for passengers?
Nice coach, great horn on the F-end, but 3 ditch lights??? That's overkill. Funny how the horn on the R-end is exactly one octave higher than the Typhon horn on the F-end.
@CSX6000 The "yucky" S-25 sounds exactly like the horn I heard as a child in the early 1960s when a PRSL Budd car would pass through my newly-adopted home town on its way from Camden to Clementon, NJ, so I have fond memories of it.

I really would like to be riding this railcar. Thanks to scenes contained in this video I do so again and again.

Beautiful horn sound. Like the E and also F units with their streamlined consists all over America. Yesterday memories.

@lailasalas They sound good every once and a while. If these were all we had, railroading would be boring.

Hmmm. I LOVE doodlebugs. Maybe they'll do it in April, 2009. Wonder how to get there from Amtrak station.

The horn on the front is a Leslie A-200, the "GG-1 horn", and the horn on the back is a Leslie S-25 (yuck).

i like the Leslie A-200.
