This is insulting to any level of human intelligence. The Haitian people must have been helpless until the journalists arrived. That child DID NOT come out of the rubble after 68 hours in that condition. Not 48 hours and unlikely even 24! Shame on these journalists for this setup.

the man who saved the child is named Deiby Celestino. It's amazing how this man from the Dominican Republic was willing to put effort and risk his life to save another.
I am an American who wishes the best in Haiti and wish I can take part of the rescue in this tragedy. God Bless.

Sorry people this is a scam, classic sleezy journalism. You would not pull a clean, happy, healthy baby out of the rubble after THREE days! Sorry to ruin such an inspirational story but come on people dont be such a sucker. I especially like how the just rescued baby goes right into the waiting arms of the roporter to present to the camera. This reporter needs a smack upside the head by an angry Hatian for this act.

jeśli skierowałeś ten komentarz do mnie to powiem Ci, że na ten temat akurat wiem dużo. A tak na marginesie to trudno nie mieszać Boga z biblijnymi proroctwami. I boleści jest już osiem, po tym jak czytam tego typu komentarze. Jeśli do Nattusi19 to się nie mieszam, bo nawet nie wiem co tam napisała, ale prawo do własnego zdania na pewno ma.

Muszę przyznać, że po Waszych komentarzach boleści mi przybyło, ale to nic. Nie mieszać Boga. A to ciekawe. Tak się składa, że mówiąc o biblijnych proroctwach (o których, ku Twojemu rozczarowaniu wiem sporo) Boga nie da się jakoś pominąć. Błąd logiczny, ale każdemu może się przydarzyć, jak chce się kogoś szybciutko zmieszać z błotem.

A gdzie była pomoc przed trzęsieniem Ziemi? Cały świat pomaga i bardzo ładnie, tylko czy ktoś zrzucał paczki z żywnością na Haiti przed trzęsieniem?... bo mnie się jakoś o uszy nie obiło. Nie pomyślałaś, że to był tzw. dopust boży, a nie jakiś kaprys? Może uznał, że te inne dzieciaczki mimo wszystko mniej i krócej będą cierpieć umierając pod gruzami niż z głodu?

co nie znaczy, że Bóg nie przemawia i ni słucha. Biblię czytam regularnie i zdaje się, że nie zaprzeczyłam w żadnym z komentarzy temu co zwiastują podobne wydarzenia. Bóg jest miłością, której nam najwyraźniej trochę brak w tej dyskusji, za co z mojej storny szczerze przepraszam. Zapomianam się czasem, ale postaram się to zmienić. Obiecuję.

Why should America be ashamed? The place is jammed up so it's difficult to get aid in. Americans are doing all they can to raise money & help, and get doctors, nurses and helpers down there.
America is not the EMT/first aid kit for everyone in the whole world anyway. But usually send the most aid in to disaster areas.
