Do you know that "The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion" has been produced on 2006 and that a very small set (about 76 pieces) related to Mr. Freeze has been also produced within 2008? The latter is called "The Batbuggy: The Escape of Mr. Freeze". There is also a LEGO keychain of Mr. Freeze that was produced on 2007.
Thanks for commenting. I will look for BATBUGGY. I have ordered the Penguins sub and Robin from 2008. Sounds like a newer Mr. Freeze will be in order. Thanks for the tip... Bill
You're about 20 years older and still your hands look much younger than mine ...it seems that all this modeling stuff is your secret elixir of life!!!!!!
Thanks or the comments... Modeling really has been a very POSITIVE thing for me physically after my stroke. Go back and listen to the early videdos I posted and you can HEAR the change... So indeed it is a secret elixir of life!!! Bill
The Superman and Batman in the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's books are some of my favorite trade paperbacks. I'm only 26, so I grew up with modern comics, which I love...but they're so dark and grim...reading some of these older comics is just a feel-good experience. Batman's greatest stories are definitely from the 70's. If you want a wonderful Batman experience, check out "Strange Attracters."
HA HA!!! They are so fun to read about these stupid comical characters!!! I'll look specifically for STRANGE ATTRACTERS... Thanks for the comments... Bill
Hey Bill! I had the title wrong...it's Strange Apparitions. It's the story arc that brought us the classic face off between Batman and Deadshot atop the giant typewriter. Tales of the Demon is another great book (we need a Lego Ra's al Ghul!)
And there's nothing stupid about liking comic characters :) They are our modern day folk heroes!
also bill, i finished my lego set. i got my legos out and built something of my own design. the only problem is is that i cant FIND the VIDEO camera. thats a HUGE problem. once i find it ill showcase my model :D
good luck with your batcave :D
modelingblogdaily - I'd like to see it. When you post the video send it to me in my INBOX and I will comment on it and rate it... Bill
