Btw, not a critique but the B-17 at about 3:41 was not shot down in combat but in a post WWII missile test of the US Nike Ajax SAM! Thought that might be interesting to know...

a tribute for those who gave their lives during WWII, british,germans,japanese,ameri­cans,australians,chinese,frenc­h,etc...they died with glory, but just for an ideal...i want to see a president or a leader fighting in a war with his men in the battlefield and then, just then, maybe the war's of the world will come to end!

Great Video,the Song fits perfectly!! Made me almost cry! Its so sad to see those Planes crushing and to know that almost of them are dead!! I feel very sorry for everyone of them,no matter for which country they gave their lives. But thats the horrible Truth about War.Thats what you didnt see in the newsreel at their time. I hope we have no more War,its Hell.Theres nothing heroic in Battles,just suffering and Death!!

My father in law was one of the lucky ones. P-51 Mustang pilot with so much history, but never speaks of what he saw and did. A true gentleman, he always gave credit to the German pilots he fought against..

Not to this video mainly.. But i find it odd that most gun cam footage iv ever seen is Allied shooting down 109s or 190s and any axis footage is shooting bombers... Nothing suggesting anything just and odd observation... Anyway!, Well done video sir! Music was fitting

You have to wonder what when on in the minds of those men when their planes were hit. Fear, resignation, thoughts of loved ones.....I once read where the 8th airforce lost more men in WWII then the entire Marine Corps did. Great tribute.
