This movie is tame by today's standards, but at the time I thought it was a bit too serious and violent compared to the original Blacula which was more fun. William Marshall and Pam Grier are still brilliant, though, so die-hard fans will probably enjoy it all the same.

William Marshall had such a fabulous voice and presence, much like Christopher Lee. Unfortunately, he didn't get to use his many talents. I remember an episode of an American Western, where he played an opera singer -- good episode, and wonderful voice. Another Hollywood tragedy -- his Darth Vader wouldn't need 2 actors!

Every Halloween I cook up french fries and hot dogs just like I use to get at the drive-in and sit down to a double feature of Blacula and Scream Blacula Scream. These two movies are so much fun to watch. Some good scares, great atmosphere, and William Marshall brings a lot of style and class to his role. I wish they had made more. Oh, and Pam Grier...YUM !!!!!!!

I actually liked this sequel better than the first one. The dynamic between William Marshall, Pam Grier and Don Mitchell was tremendous. One other actor deserves mention, Richard Lawson (from All My Children)was extremely funny and charismatic as Willis. The best scene, was seen in the trailer when Marshall pleads with Grier's character to help him to rid himself of the curse..." I NEEEED YOU!!"
