@TheGamingChannel100 dude, it's pretty much everything graphical, used for games, animation, simulation, effects, post process, etc.

@TheGamingChannel100 Your looking for Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3Ds Max, those are animation programs. They also do modelling, rendering, texturing, physics simulation (cloth, particles, etc). Maya is often considered the best animation program, but amazing stuff have been made with both. Ice Age 3 by Blue Sky studios where animated in Maya as far as I know. All the World of Warcraft CGI intros where done in 3Ds Max. This I am pretty sure of.

Autodesk has developed many 3D applications with different purposes, most commonly known would be 3dsMax which is meant for modeling, simulating, rendering, special effects and so on. Then there is Mudbox that's used for digital sculpting / texturing of high resolution meshes. Then we have Inventor and AutoCAD which are more designed for planing / designing real life structures, such as pluming and building different parts, machines and structures from scratch. nds mr l3trs
