i'm absolutely blown away by this. i used to listen to this a lot without actually watching the video. now i watched it again and paid more attention: i am just amazed by your technique. i've seen loads of videos with all those well known shredders, but somehow i like this more than most of the stuff out there. one question: what gave you the idea to trill a note with two fingers on the same fret? i used to do that with the help of my picking hand, as in tapping, but never seen it done this way.

That part is actually a minor scale but I am adding those "ornament" notes which are usually a semi tone higher than the original note which brings more notes in use,

if you think in that way you can end up using chromatic, tho it'll still be minor scale with those additives that give you all 12 notes.

Muris your the best!!! Question...when you compose a lead are you visualizing scale patterns that fit over chords or do you break it down note per note in conjuction with the chords your soloing over then revert to the scale for your "filler notes"? I've changed the way I look at the guitar...I dont look at anymore as 1st fret 2nd fret etc etc, I try to visualize it as a whole series of notes now! Anyway, love your playin, been a big fan since the GMC days several years back :-) :-) :-)

Regarding visualizing, I tend to visualize pretty much everything, all chord shapes around the neck, all scale positions around the neck etc etc.

But what's the most important imo is that you should be able to hear in your head how every note is going to sound in conjuction with particular chord, then it's much easier to compose or improvise without correcting "wrong" notes.
