@nirvanapixiesmisfits Well actually, this video could ellaborate a bit more. You pick once with your pick hand, then when you pull off - you pull slightly sideways (or down). Lifting your finger straight off the string wont sound the second note as clearly. You pull off slightly down, and as you do that you kind of pick the string with the finger you are pulling off with. If you look for it you can see his is doing this in this video.
what do I do if song requires 2p0? whats the difference between 2-0 and 2p0? since im anyway going to pick the string with me finger...

kosterbryan 1 year ago

should his finger be hitting th other string like that?
Oryon123456 1 year ago
@Oryon123456
well actually no, but it really doesn't matter at all, as long as it doesn't sound.
TommittajaFIN 1 year ago
So basically hammering is just tapping the string and slightly pulling it to kind of "pic" it with you fret hand?
digerydooboi 1 year ago
you just release or you also pull the string a bit?
Vangelis213 1 year ago
@Vangelis213
you pull A BIT. if you pull too much, it WILL bend. it pretty hard at first
TommittajaFIN 1 year ago

when i try to pull my figer off the sting for the sound, i always hit the other string, help
quaidman13 3 years ago
get a grip and dont hit the other one, and if your just lifting dont do that either. you have to kinda pick at the string with your finger.
SkillerGuyVids 3 years ago
a way that i found out how to not accidently pick the string after is just mute it with ur index finger thats already on fret its ez..
