I was just browsing thru Cocteau Twins clips, and clicked on this, and holy smoke!! You coulda knocked me over with a bottle of Vicodin...if it isn't the theme from House, M.D.! Well, the Vicodin and a cane. Followed by the defibrillator paddles. Anyway, amazingly excellent! A huge thank you to everyone involved.
Elizabeth Fraser the voice of COCTEAU TWINS They were a phenomenon. Not necessarily the kind that plays to stadiums or fills MTV's timeslots or even sells millions of records. Rather, the kind that quietly causes a fundamental shift in perception, exerting a seminal influence that is universally felt if not always seen
This performance sounds lazy and uninspired for some reason. Especially with Liz. It seems like she isn't exerting enough force when singing. She sounds weak and even sings out of key on occasion.
@meatballllll Its because she was not a trained singer, nor did she sing in english most of the time, and was a coke head and alcholic for years. what do you fucking expect from her. miracles? fuck off and go and whinge about something else you sad freak

an extraordinary performance. Unique voice that sounds like it's coming from the underwater... or from the foggy background... or from behind the neighbour's wall. Splendid.
Elizabeth fulfills me and I love her for it. :) I hear the quiet soft tones and hear her voice in my ear...and mmmmm the beast is calmed within me. Ive never lost that. a! :)
truly a-mazing shes gets better and better I liked the twins as a kid in 80s England .you needed great stuff to goet you through the thatcher nightmare.
Such a precious voice..Fraser brings emotion to music like no other!! Listening to her sing is like being drawn into a dream and taken on a special journey that no-one else will understand..utterly brilliant :)
this is without doubt the best performance of this song ever.no matter if liz sung it again,i dont think she could better it,foook me i dont know what else to say but thanks for putting it on.
@Drakko24NicoSuave Don't konw exactly, but for the scenary it seems to be the 'Later... with Jools Holland' show. There's a few dvd's collection of best performances of it. I got five of those (i think they are 7 or 8 dvd's) but this act doesn't appear in my collection, just 'Summerhead' of Cocteau Twins.
Are people really confusing portishead for liz!? i remember hearing this song for the first time, having to repeat it about 10 times before going to the next one. xo

Try to inform you about her former band, the "Cocteau twuns", before saying such stupid things. Her music goes beyond the words!
