It isn't too late. The executive and legislative branches failed to properly vet Obama. The judicial branch needs to step in--remember the balance of power thing?--and protect US citizens and their Constitution. There are many suits out there. Lets hope the SCOTUS will move to resolve the question of Obama's eligibility. It is within their power, and they should act. It's hard to believe that Obama's nonsense has been allowed to continue this long.
