Jason and Liz need to be together! It's silly that he can be with Courtney and Sam but not Liz. Because if that's the case, than it must mean that Courtney and Sam's life isn't as important to Jason as Liz's life?

Country and Sam doesn't have children, unlike Liz who does. Plus Liz is the mother of Jason son. Which makes Jason more worried to not even being in their life. Because he's afraid that both his son and Liz would end up getting killed by his enemis.

O'crouse not, Liz is the mother of his son. Sam didn't have Jason baby and Courtney would have been important to Jason life, if she would end up having his baby. Remember Courtney was pregant by Jason at first, but thanks to Ric she lost her baby by Jason.

but anyway I don't think Jason and Liz shouldn't be together anyway. Jason deserve someone like Sam who has faith in him and understanding his dangerous life style.
