@FerrariFloency well really a type R is simply a more built gsr engine so more is done for you already if you are gonna build it. If you are going serious just get a b18c1 cause you are probably gonna upgrade past stock type R parts so why pay more for the engine.

the # at the end is a country code of where it was made. b18c1 i think is us and the b18c2 is canadian. type r is b18c5

hahahah neagative man thats a good idea but we have type r's over here that are usdm and theres also gsr's that come with the b18c1 in japan and also cadm canada.

and for the guy up there. gsr is b18c1. about 160hp and a little higher compression and the displacement is different. also the vtec is set a little lower as its more performance. c5 is the type r engine, not gsr. and its at 200 roughly higher displacment and lower comp. argued the best honda engine compared to k20 and c30.
