The Ti doesn't really have much to do with the sound, but it can change the pitch of the whistle fuel. There is no nozzle, just a core.

Do Ti whistles make that lower whistle because I hear most as the high pitch, but I really love the low pitch whistles. Nice job on the rocket too, btw.

Ti is the titanium that creates the silver shower of sparks in the tail. It does have an affect on the sound of the rocket.

From a little bit of average Trig and Physics I calculate the average height to be around 1200-1400 feet AGL, from a 6-6.5 second flight time (Thats till you see the explosion, not hear it) and an average speed of 150mph for the rocket.
