  • The only thing that makes this "fusion" is Karen's hip wiggle ! It doesn't need to be nuevo, you can dance milonga or milonguero to practically any music you like....rock is 4/4 time like tango so its fairly easy. Some Salsa is difficult, and some freeform jazz also (Dave Brubeck for example) I've been to big jazz festivals where we're the only couple dancing, so who cares if it's tango rock, salsa,or fusion...dancing is about sharing a moment with your partner, and that's not common enough...

  • @sirprenante :I personally agree with everything you wrote. However, many people love labeling things - which has its advantages and uses. However, what is nuevo in one city or country may not be so in another :)

  • Wow! Poetry in motion!... sex on hardwood!... I mean really, does it get any better than this? Klaus and Karen rock. Nice work, guys. :)

  • Very happy to see dancing like this. It's all about creative expression.

Why do we have to dance tango to tango music and vice versa? Very Nice!

  • Tango Nuevo is about dancing to anything!

  • Really? Ask Chicho or Gustavo Naveira or Sebastian or most of the other "Tango-nuevo-developpers". You see them rarely, IF EVER dancing to non-Tango.

I thought, Tango nuevo would be about the development of new concepts of movement, analyzing and maybe also teaching.

  • Sixteen tons is NOT a tango!

  • I believe you are right!

I hope this does not affect my rating.. Tom Jones is fun... still! :)
