Some do look Chinese but a lot of them do not look like Han Chinese at all. And I'm no expert but I have an uncle who is a plastic surgeon in Korea. I can tell some had plastic surgeries. We won't know for sure till they age but surely it will show. I wanna see North Korean girls I bet they are much better looking than South.

A lot of them are Hong Kong actresses and southern Chinese tend to have more pronounced features than their northern counterparts. And most of them wore eye makeup... Ancient ideals of beauty? depends on the dynasty. During the Tang dynasty, the ideal is a rather fat or chubby woman, this was the same in the West though....ie the Venus statues.
