Perfect tutorial. I once were a beginner too so I find it's hard to do the chord without a person like you showing how to build it. And about you singing, it doesn't matter. @cloe123hey First, tune your strings. You can use my 'how to tune your guitar' video as a reference. Next, for strumming, try strumming just down on all the chords to make it easy to start out with. Play it along with the actual song. You'll hear the chord changes because of the pitch going from higher to lower. :)

@VietnamMay Aw, thank you! Well, when you're just beginning guitar, you can't expect to play perfect, but you'll totally get there! Believe me you will!!! You just gotta practice and love it. It's easier if you break the songs down and just take it piece by piece. Learn the intro first, then the verse, then the chorus, and so on. Don't tackle the entire song at once. It's too much. Just take it step by step and work your way up to speed. :)

Take it slow when you practice your strumming. You might have to sound it out if you're a beginner. Play it slow and then work your way up to speed to make sure that you get all the strums in where they are supposed to be. Let me know how it goes. :)

I am having the hardest time singing and playing, when I try my strumming gets all messed up, and so do my chord changes. I was wondering if you had the same problem when you began, or if there is some sort of exercise or just something that I can do to help with that. Any input would be great! @77Chrisdogsledding You are very welcome! I'm just happy to help. I didn't really have much of a problem with singing and playing at the same time. I had to work at it a bit, but then it just came. You just have to keep at it! Practice makes perfect. I think what really helped me was slowing the pace of the song. Just play and sing the song slower. That way you can focus on each detail. Then work your way up to speed. Try it out and let me know how it goes. Good Luck!!! :)
