  • i realy like akban, respect to all students. i wanted to ask - are there any religious requirements to train with akban? or is it religion free? can for example slavic pagan join dojo?

  • @surobakianinpo We keep politics out of the dojo. We keep religious views out of the dojo. We only let people inside the dojo, all kinds of good and tough people.

You are most welcomed my friend.

  • I wish I could join...

  • @PassingSquall Just one word, my friend: welcome

  • @ninjalla

    For Free?

  • @PassingSquall How did you deduct that? :)

  • @ninjalla

    lol

  • under no circumstance is someone ready to be a shodan after one year. i dont care if they train everyday. not gonna happen.

  • @Endure2theEnnd I think you misunderstood. These tests are not Shodan and the time for Shodan in AKBAN is 12 years my friend.

  • Greetings from Chile ,i`ve seen many videos of the way you train and i think you are doing a great job, you mix the traditional way with the modern ways and situations we are dealing this days, very cool, great taijutsu, shime, nage and ground work.Thats ninjutsu, thats the way we train here in my dojo also, kind regards from Muteki dojo, Chile

  • @jgroch Hearing about dojos that make their Ninjutsu practical is great!

Thanks for the kind words, Keep training my friend.

  • jsajsjajajajajajajajajajjajaja and more ajajajajajajajajajajaja

  • @EZER26 Yes, you are absolutely right.

  • you hit on the ground? 0:57

what kind of practice is that? in a fight when the uke is on the ground and you are in control he is no longer the uke. you become the uke and therefore must know when to stop.

in our ryu of ninjutsu we do it to defend not to attack. its interesting to see the difference in our styles of the same art but i was just kind of shocked at that.

  • @Karmitsu072 Yep. We hit on the ground.

Your observation is strange, mind you, there are many Ninjutsu Kata, especially in Koto ryu, where the Tori not only hits when the opponent is not ready - in these kata Tori initiates the attack.

So I think that Ninjutsu techniques are not politically correct.

  • @ninjalla

ninjutsu technique is english for ninpo no gijutsu or technique of the ninja. its as poilitcally correct as it comes >< as for kata, in my dojo our kata is more like a dance lol where you just display a technique. kata literally translates to form and katas are just coreographed movements. sorry lol i read write and speak japanese fluently.

i dunno maybe your ryu is different i practice, i respect all ryus so please dont take my comment as offensive

  • @Karmitsu072 It's just our perspective. In AKban we practice Bujinkan Ninjutsu.

    Respect.

    Keep training friend.

  • @Karmitsu072 Im in the bujinkan what form of ninjutsu is this? looks like bujinkan with the fubi kata

  • @Karmitsu072 my school broke away from bunjinkan, i practice a different style of ninjutsu called 21st century ninjutsu

  • at 2:02 you see a fist strike with the thumb inside the fist. this is all very poor technique

  • @Lambda25 your remark is strange, at 2:02 the clip ends.

  • @ninjalla I thought I changed it before I posted. I meant at 0:33. when two people are grappling on the ground.

  • @Lambda25, it's 0:33. You are right. Even though it's a hammer fist, tetsui, it is bad technique to hold the thumb like this.

  • to become a martial artist...yeah..thats a dream i once have...its nice to notice that it isnt far as i thought...

  • Nice video. Shows a lot.

  • I like the philosophy with the sacred water. Very "Fremen"... ^_^

  • Very nice video......I am watching your other videos, its cool...

We have no ninjutsu school in our country and we have nobody to teach us......So i an trying to learn it by my own.And your videos are really helpful.....

    Thank you for uploading...

  • @galibimtaz, Learning ninjutsu on your own is pretty difficult.

I hope some day we will be able to teach in your country.

  • @galibimtaz

"We have no ninjutsu school in our country and we have nobody to teach us."

that isn't a surprise, there are NO ninjutsu schools in ANY country, the last practitioner died over 40 years ago...

"Learning ninjutsu on your own is pretty difficult."

make that IMPOSSIBLE... and since the only thing demonstrated by these "ninjutsu"students is some poor quality Budo, i do not understand how they can claim it to be ninjutsu.... ah wait, i do know... THEY ARE LYING FOR MONEY

  • how is possible the things that is done from the minute 1.03 to 1.08? He don't pain for the "bo" that hit him?

(sorry for my bad english...i want to practice ninjutsu in my city)

  • @cipri91, He got pain alright...

  • If you're going to take a hit from a stick, you don't want to take the end distal to the handler, that's where all of the force is. Take the impact close to the hands and the force of the swing stops abruptly for that half of the stick while the tip keeps going... hence the broken stick.

It's often used as a "demonstration" of body toughening, and it's kind of a trick for demos, but it's also very wise to take a blow in that manner as it can either break the weapon or allow you to close in...

  • Nice video. You guys seem to be one of the few Ninjutsu groups which trains realistically.

  • What is that that they drink in the end?

  • It's water, spring water. The only requisite is that these water were carried by foot in a backpack on one of Akban's desert gatherings.

The instructor says: "These are the veterans' water, we carried the weight. Now you have a water debt."

After they drink he says:"Our water, your water".

  • very nice vid friend *bow*

  • Domo arigato, KoKoro

  • Great videos. All of them. My compliments, everybody!!

  • Thanks :)

  • 1:06 קטע חזק :)

  • Nice, I love all of your vids... would love to train with you guys one day!

  • Training here is simple, and costs almost nothing compared to places like Japan or Europe. You are always welcome Torashin.

  • wow!

i can't take my ju-jutsu-tests at the same level as you from akban do.

    keep on practicing and posting!

    greetings from germany

  • Thank you friend, Keep training!
