No, when you have survived the 50th wave it's over.

I dont get how horde mode works ... just keep killing wave after wave untill your entire squad goes down?

yeah wave after wave but it keeps getting harder, and if for example if one wave a buddy dies then the next wave he will come back to life, if everyone dies in one wave its over.
