I don't think anyone will be at disneyland this saturday :) bc they will all be at DCA for World of Color water/fire/lasers show this is going to beat out fantasmic. this show is going to be EPIC!!!!!

magical is my all time favorite Disney firework show. Now I know all you Remember Dreams Come True likers will not like me for saying that, but I like Remember Dreams Come True. I just like the music of this show better. I don't like the words of the rides being spoken in Remember and the long breaks without fireworks. The ending of magical is 10 times better, and i can't wait for summer. Hopefully this show comes back!

Writing this before watching the video: I was lucky enough to catch Remember...Dreams Come True for their final performance in June 09. At the time, I had no idea the amazing spectacular was coming to an end, and I hope its successor does an equally amazing job.

I loved Wishes too (a LOT), but this is a great show too, and frankly a better show for people who do not know the park well enough to relate to all the rides. Wishes is great for those of us who know the park well enough to recognize the sound bites and references.

I think it was smart of Disney to do this show (as long as they bring Wises back). This is a more lush score, and appeals to a broad audience. They did a great job.

When Magical was going on when I was there recently, we just got on the Railroad to New Orleans square, and went on Pirates. During Fantasmic, we went on the Haunted Mansion, because I will refuse to watch Fantasmic without the new dragon.

Actually, i work for the DLR, and its funny to hear the guests complain because of just a little gust of wind and they cancel the fireworks. However, did you know, Disney is fined a pretty fee everytime they shoot off fireworks? including Fantasmic?

I wonder if the fire laws and weather had anything to do with the scaled down actual fireworks. The other shows were great, when you got to see them, They were cancelled several nights in a row and even during summer due to high winds. Wind we didn't actually feel.

I am a pass holder who knows just about ever noc and cranny. Now the reason why Disney will lie is because it would sound bad if they sad "one of our firework toobs isn't resonding". If they blame it on the wind, then people will be disapointed but if they admit to it being there falt, then people will be angry and complain.You can't trust everything Disney says, Disney has people look up Disneyland blogs and they go after castmebers that post anything about the problems at the park.

because some times (few times) it is the winds falt, but 95% of the time when they blame it on the wind, it isnt really the wind. Oh my gosh you sound like one of the disney corpit guys.

LOL, what does a GPA have anything to do with this? Wind is a large factor for the show. To inform you, the 5 freeway is really close to the shooting site. If fallout gets near the freeway or on it, they can't shoot. Just because you have a pass doesn't mean you automatically know everything about DL. To be honest, it sounds like you think Disney is out to 'punk' you by "blaming it on the wind". I hope you don't take their harsh wind remarks personally towards you, lol.

I am not trying to say that they are out to punk anyone, I am just saying that when something goes wrong, like a firework hatchs on fire while in a tube, or someone is in the wrong place, or important computer crashes, or anything else that will force them to stop the show (which is not always the wind) they blame it on the wind so less people get mad a demand their money back. Thats all, I don't think Disney is out to get anyone, just they don't an angry crowd to blame them so they blame wind.

This is true the santa ana winds kick in there and its not the same as the wind on the ground there are alot of tree's around the fireworks and if its too windy that can cause alot of damage plus tinkerbell doesn't like to fly in the those conditions

they cancel shows due to wind or rain or sometimes other technical problems. and there is high wind in the sky that sometimes doesnt reach the ground so u cant feel it (i forgot what the word is called) they have to make sure there is no wind because the fireworks can blow elsewhere and cause problems

The show grows on you. The first time I watched it I was like, meh... i miss RDCT. Then I watched it a few more times and realized that it is a really good show. I loved Believe, Wishes, RDCT, and Fantasy in the Sky as well. Even if you think that this is one of the worst disney fireworks shows (I'd rather have this than the enchanted fireworks @ DLP) It is still high high HIGH above any other places fireworks.

There is a lot of high up beat parts to the show but sadly it lacks the Disneyland park references that made Remember Dreams Come True so unique. Seeing things you have been riding on all day take place in the sky in a whole new medium really made for a great way to end a Day at Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom.

It's cool, kinda lack's with a real intro, a middle, and an end, but conffeti? Seems like someone is trying to recycle the confetti cannons from Light Magic, LOL! Overall it's a good show, at least better than anything the other park's have to offer which is nothing. Glad Disney has invested in something even if they did cut back. Though from what I've been told thier is still more to come as they are still tweeking the show and not all the pyro was set off. Time will tell!

i was there at disneyland last night, and i watched the fireworks(i was standing to the left of walt and mickey looking at the castle, and i go to Cal State Fullerton too! what a coincidence...well CSUF is close to Disneyland so not so much of one i guess lol. it was nice to see the Dumbo anamatronic up close, thanks for sharing!

The VP of shows and parades actually explained that Dumbo is a fully articulated animatronic. There are no strings attached to his ears or legs, just the base.

Dumbo! We left right after the Mary Poppins. I was hoping for a flying Mary Poppins or Chimney Sweeps dancing on the castle, but oh well. Glad to see Tink back, but it seemed like she didn't go as far as she did in previous shows.

Yeah it would be real hard to see the electrical parade and then leave and get a good spot for the fireworks and even harder to get to fantasmic considering how many people go there on a reguar basis, you could do it if you have people save spots at each show and once one is finished meet up with the others and move down the list or stay together and BOOK-IT to each show!!

its not impossible but its not that easy to do. getting a good spot for the fireworks is hard enough already because people set up even as early as 8:30 and thats almost the time of electrical parade. by the time you get back the place will be packed with people, let alone after that A LOT of people run to fantasmic for a spot. i would just suggest if you do all this, you have to run quite fast or find alternate ways to get around places. :D
