All I hear is Demonbane (the mecha). - no Ryouma, Kamina, Tetsuya, Musashi, Guy, Kouji and all those heroic pilots who carry the hopes, dreams and sacrifices of humanity. The GL and TTGL are basically wanna be GaoGaiGar Units. Vs Original or Star (G Getter), yeh, GL/TTGL would stand a chance/win. But if it was vs Shin, there would be no chance.
Actually Gurren Lagann is inspired by Getter all the way down to the Spiral Power= Getter Rays similiarity. The characters in GL even get the Getter eyes when they're using it
GaoGaiGar's also a pretty obvious Getter Homage, except it didn't FUBAR up so badly. GGGG (Genesic GaoGaiGar) is considered really one of the top 4 Mecha, and yes, it is considered better than TTGL for the sole reason all TTGL did was punch and throw stuff, that's not very impressive :P.
Ignoring sizes, they all have some of the most powerful attacks for their sizes and can use them quickly with no to minimal charging, allowing them to plow through hords of enemies. That, and all 4 have true Infinite Regeneration (Can infinitely heal the pilots and mechas).
And yes, the Turn A Gundam is that powerful if you've read it's Tech specs.
hmm... yeah, all of them are the strongest. but I do know the true power of the Turn A gundam mostly like in the series it was below 5% of its power and it still is considered the strongest..

I know that it has at least one thing that's like...this teleporter component that can be used as a sort of "bag". Like say for example a huge bomb with immense power could be stored someplace else, but the Turn A would have access to it even if it can't even carry it. It just has to teleport the bomb to its location.
At least that's the impression that I got from someone explaining it to me in a manner most fast.

Ideon takes forever to power up, any decent Mecha would be able to get behind it and rip it apart. RahXePhon is sposed to be a god if I remember, but these are the Top 4ish as others have confirmed. TTGL Lacks and isn't mentioned it due to it's got Power which doesn't fit it's size, those 4 got weaponry which far surpass their size-damage basic output. It's like an Ant, they can lift 100 times their own weight. The same for those 4 in destructive potential. TTGL just lacks the sheer power.
Just because something is powerful as fuck for its size, doesn't make it the most powerful. TTGL's power IS it's sheer size, which make most people think it would swat anything aside. Then you look at the Top 4, ideally they all could plot-hax that issue away the same way the TTGL did from AGL, or in Turn A's Case, just Time-Space Hax. Kaiser/Shin/Genesic would just Getter-hax to the same size, and kick it's ass. Turn A Just teleports Shots into the Cockpits and sighs.
@KatomaMundara Elder God Demonbane could easily destroy any other mech in existence. It has multiverse-level time control and the ability to summon an infinite number of copies of itself. Turn A would also have its ass handed to it by manga Shin Getter Robo. At the end of Getter Robo Go, It turns everything it comes into contact with into a part of itself, so the MLB is out of the question and I doubt that a particle beam gun would do any damage to it, no matter how strong it is.

Goldion Crusher is nothing when you think that Demonbane has the ability to revive itself by using it's time powers from a different point in time, It also has literally infinite speed, power and energy/
Demonbane is capable of becoming larger than a universe, in one of the novels there is a version of Demonbane that can erase universes simply by brushing against them because it's so big.
I doubt that Ideon could survive being hit by an infinite number of Lemuria Impacts.

@countrybluegrass C'mon dude. Kira and the cast of SEED along with the guys from 00 are pretty cool. I enjoyed the respective series. Its just we'll never find them to be nearly as cool as Ryoma and other GAR super robot pilots like Koji and Gai.

Both are 15 meters tall, piloted by a single person (both Kouji Kabuto and Amuro Ray were initially inexperienced and made plenty of mistakes), both robots had "docking" modes, among other things.
And both robots are pioneers in their respective genres. ;)
There's a nice bit on winning by strategy over power in the Shin Getter mang when Getter beats Getter G in the end thanks to the fact they're better at combining and can respond faster.

I think that's the case. From what I can tell, the pilot of the current lead unit takes priority control.
Shin vs. Neo assumes there's some degree of control with the secondary pilots - Hayato instructs Kei and Gai to redirect energy for the Neo Getter-1 to perform Plasma Thunder.
In New Getter, when Hayato goes nuts in the Getter-2, Ryoma is powerless to do anything until he physically climbs down to the Getter Jaguar's cockpit and forces Hayato to a halt.
@katchapol my question is if they can break the formation. Can Hayato or Benkei switch the OpenGet when Ryo is piloting Getter 1? or it is all in the hands of the pilot of the configuration?
In Armageddon, Hayato and Musashi also pilot their getter, 2 & 3 respectively, by themselves. It seems the logic in Armageddon is that a Getter Robo can function with only one or two pilots, but may only change to a certain form if there's a pilot in the lead machine of that said form. Example: if Ryoma and Hayato were to make a sortie in the red and white getter machines (1 & 2; Eagle and Jaguar), with the third machine on auto-pilot, they could form Getter 1 and 2, but not Getter 3.
Things seem to be different in other Getter "universes". In New Getter Robo (aka Shin Getter Robo 2004), it is implied that one pilot could form and control any of the Getters, but priority goes to the pilot in the lead machine. In Shin vs Neo, a lone pilot can change to any of the forms and pilot them with no apparent difficulty, as Musashi does in the introduction.
Well, she was some kind of supporter for the Getter Team. She pretty much helped the team in battle and such. Dunno how I should explain it otherwise.
Yeah, the first three episodes were done by the guy who directed Giant Robo and was only supposed to be about seven episodes long from what I understand. He ended up leaving and plans changed and that's why the show's pace changes dramatically after episode 3.
Right now, it's simply a misunderstanding between Ryoma, Hayato, and Saotome. The good Dr. falls under the aliens' control when Ryoma, Hayato, and Go boarded Shin Getter to go after that Nuke. Who knew that Genki was a girl? lol

In New Getter Robo (aka Shin Getter Robo 2004), it is implied that one pilot could form and control any of the Getters, but priority goes to the pilot in the lead machine. In Shin vs Neo, a lone pilot can change to any of the forms and pilot them with no apparent difficulty, as Musashi does in the introduction.

Not only that, but he dies several times, too... this anime was good, but not what I had hoped for. I preferred the episodes with Ryoma in them.

Yeah, the first three episodes were done by the guy who directed Giant Robo and was only supposed to be about seven episodes long from what I understand. He ended up leaving and plans changed and that's why the show's pace changes dramatically after episode 3.

Right now, it's simply a misunderstanding between Ryoma, Hayato, and Saotome. The good Dr. falls under the aliens' control when Ryoma, Hayato, and Go boarded Shin Getter to go after that Nuke. Who knew that Genki was a girl? lol
