@94espen94 I wouldn't say that. It is apparent that RAGE is indeed a game made AFTER Fallout 3 and Borderlands. But just as with literature one might be inspired by the works of Homer, so to was RAGE inspired by Fallout (Bethesda having been part of it's third installment) and Borderlands.

It retains a unique taste, retaining the concept of ruin but removing the 1950's vibe, and attains a level of exploration and adventure like Borderlands.

It is awesome, yanno what I'm sayin'?

@ogoextreme There's more than that, the pistol apparently has 'fat mamas' according to several demo reviews, they didn't get to use those rounds but they sound like heavy duty rounds with a lot of stopping power. There's more guns than has been shown, and every gun has at least 4 ammo types. I dunno what I'll pick yet, but i know i know I'm ready to KILL to get this game.

@ogoextreme The guns have varied ammo. The pistol has regular bullets, killshots (every shot in the magazine at once) the shotgu nhas pop rocks (explosive pellets) the crossbow has too many bolts to mention one so it isn't about upgrades, ammo you make or find, machines of war you build and so on.

Did you know id and bethesda have included an offline pass with this game? Thats right if you buy this game used certain parts of the campaign will buy unavailable to you and to get those missions you'll have to pay an extra 10 dollars. This is no longer a case of server maintenance like the online pass but complete and total greed. When you buy a game you should be allowed to play the full game but no now you'll have to pay an extra ten bucks if you want the full story. NO ONE buy this game

You make it sound like you will be excluded from a whole chapter of the story, if you buy a second hand copy, which is not true.

The only thing that is exclusive to first hand buyers is these sewers that you can find in certain parts of the game. These are just some extra areas to explore, probably with some loot. Considering this will be a long game to begin with (15 hours or so), I don't see it as a big deal.

The same thing happened with the online pass, it started off as this small thing and now every product EA makes requires the pass. Online passes make sense in a way that it DOES cost the company money each time a new user joins the server but they already built those sewers into the game why charge people extra for them...greed
