  • I guess tennis got as good as edberg and then started getting worse...

  • its true indeed, a perfect gentleman! I'll never forget his three consecutive Wimbledon final with Becker!

  • I miss Edberg too. So sad last match.

  • edberg is a Genntleman

  • Easily my favourite player of all time. I miss Edberg.

  • I always thought Edberg's last match was against Ivanisevic in 1996 US Open.

  • that was his last grandslam match.

  • mr. edberg thank you for making my childhood so beautiful! a real gentleman!!! respect!

  • What I love about Youtube is that it is an unmoderated forum in which frustrated fux can vent their bitter spleen, and in which talented verbal snipers can exchange headshots.

  • god damn it why couldn't god make this man not age! >:O

  • Mr. Stefan Edberg, Thank you

  • OMG You are going to every Edberg video and posting the same diatribe. Cut and paste master.

    GET A LIFE!!!

  • better wisen up u stupid creature...duh

  • Go and get a life, you stupid turd.

  • are you serious?

  • Ok, you're totally retarded.

  • supamaka - you're an idiot and have a severe chip on your shoulder...I'm Indian and I find nothing racist in his statement - misinformed maybe although even that may be debated.

  • Whenever I visit India I always get at least one digestive bug, even if I am careful about drinking boiled and bottled water and eating thoroughly cooked foods.

If I were an athlete that could ruin my season.

  • che bello ! :D

  • the most stylish and the best. I loved Becker as a kid back then, but Edberg undoubtedly is my fav now!

  • Stefan was such a great player, but great returners like Andre would feast on that kick serve he hit 90 to 100 miles per hour. Terrific backhand, superb volleys, but that forehand was a liability. Forced into retirement at 28 years old. The game passed him by.

  • Total class act

  • any link or web site to get info about this tennis player please?

  • Great vid!

  • What year is this?

  • Back in ´96.

  • Best behaved tennis player ever to play the game and no man will ever be a better voleyer than the legendary stefan edberg

  • you are totally right the only one who had ever reached his class was Pat Rafter!! The were both really Gentlemen on the court!

  • what ABOUT McEnroe? McEnroe has the best hands ever, an artist. To me Stefan and McEnroe have been the best volleyers ever.

  • ok to my defense i know mcencoe but i never saw him play because i was too young :-)) but ok he was one of the best players but he definitely was NO gentleman *gggg*

  • Agree with ya. He was a bad ass mad man but his net game was the most natural and artistic ever. You should watch some of Mac's videos on you tube.

  • ok so thanks and i will watch vome vids!!

  • We need more tennis players like him. A role model, and one of the greatest serve and volleyers.

  • always the gentleman.lots of players from today should take a lesson from him.

  • sweden needs a new Stefan Edberg!

  • ma dopo ha giocato la finale della coppa davis vs Francia, putroppo nel primo match vs Pioline , si ha fatto molto male alla caviglia, ha finito male :( Poverino Stefan
