  • tune the guitar...

  • Really great job!

  • well done, one of the best songs to fingerpick. I'm trying to learn now haha

  • very nice

  • Oh man,,,,this was really good. It almost sounded like two or three guitars at times. Two thumbs up,,,,very good job.

  • @FRSGUMP he's of timing

  • excellent man

  • very very nice - beautiful finger picking

  • excellent

  • Try and swallow a steelo pad and clean your throat....guitar is good to listen too.

  • why didnt you just tune to a440 and play it without a capo

  • @olhobbler

You don't play it without a capo because the chord voicings would be completely different. Watch James Taylor play it.

@Acehaddad - Nice job on the tune. Keep it up

  • sweet seagul my friend got to be the most beautiful guitars out. nice playing and cheers from scotland take it easy

  • I agree, the capo on 2nd makes this song yours! Nice little unique element sir!

  • very original playing with capo on 2nd, i love it :) individual

  • cappo is on third.... it will sound much nicer, but your way better than I am

  • well he did what would suit his voice. : )

  • Great Job, I really enjoy your posts

  • good job loosin up that top button

  • Great cover of a classic song. Nadine

  • nice real nice!

  • You are awesome, gave the original a run for its money !!!

  • Nice! :)

  • nice seagul i cant play mine like that :(

  • impressive

  • good job

  • Forgive my asking why tune the guitar one step down, then put capo on 2? Wouldn't it be the same?

  • I would have thought it would be the same as putting the capo on the 3rd fret?

  • less string tension, makes bending easier...

SRV always tuned to Eb for that reason.

  • it can cause less buzz from open strings

  • Very impressive. Keep up the good work.

  • thats sooooo much fucking harder than it looks D:

  • jst learnd it in about 3 mins

  • the songs longer than 3 mins douchebag

  • haha lol u fool,, im aware that the songs longer than 3 minutes,, but see after you've learned the intro, the verse and the chorus,, guess what happens then? IT FUCKING REPEATS U ARSEHOLE

  • nooooooooo !! . . . . good god man tune that shit !

  • Don't recheck any thing I think if you enjoy your music why try and make it more like the original.keep it your own. nice job, over 63,000 says it all.

  • Haddad, 63,000 viewers and more we hope...........I love the way this song means so much to you.....Bravo - Brian

  • good job ...keep going...well guitar's play..

  • very goood

  • Excellent work - think your lowest string may be a bit out of tune here though...

Still - lovely job!!! Keep them coming!!

  • nice, keep up the good work...

  • So what if his guitar was tuned too low, it still sounded good, keep on playin! Thanks for posting.

  • Haddad keep on rocking - any imitation is flattery and I like your playing too!!

Many years ahead inshallah my friend - you have made it to my 6 or 7 favourites list. I'll have to buy some cans as i'll drive the Frau up the wall constanly listening to you all H ha !! Quis Separabit from an old Mick - Ciao

  • Love the song.

  • Cool! But your Capo is one fret too low. Needs to be on the third.

  • it has to suit his voice... there's is no right or wrong with the capo... could also be his guitar is tuned one fret higher...

  • On the contraire... A song is a song, and the notes are the notes. Should the singer not be able to sing the song, then he can drop his vocal octave. Other then that, for the song to sound original, and to be the original notes, in this case the Capo must be on the third. I am not demeaning his performance, just stating the facts.

  • i have to respectfully disagree... so you're saying that a song should always follow the proper chords and key for it to sound original even if it makes the artist sound awkward... and why should a song always sound original, not to take anything away from James Taylor. but shouldn't an artist be allowed his own interpretation of the song... just following on your statement...

  • Fair enough... I suppose you are correct that a covering artist is allowed to have flexibility from the original score. So if THIS guy realizes that James Taylor plays the song with the Capo on the third instead of the second, and THIS artist chooses to lower it due to his vocal ability, then that is fine. hahaha, what an ordeal this has become, but a fun and clean one at least.

  • i agree... well, i'm really open-minded when i comes to debates, and i don't really force people to believe what i say 'coz most of the time i say bull...hehe...

for AceHaddad: i like this song, i'll probably do a cover myslef...

  • A song can be played in any key. It is each successive notes relative pitch that makes the melody. You should study music a little before you critique it. His guitar sounded a little out of tune, but that could be just in the recording or it could be caused by the capo for any number of reasons. Ace, you sing and play better than I. I was watching your video as a tutorial. Keep it up. Excellent work.

  • Comment removed

  • How do you know how much music I have "studied"? FYI I've been playing guitar, drums, and singing for like the past 8 years... I said it already in other comments, but I NOT was demeaning or critiquing his performance, just referring to the Capo, as it DOES put the entire song in an key too low. That is all I was saying.

  • you can bang on some drums and strum a guitar for as long as you want, but without knowing music theory, which you obviously don't, you're simply uneducated and amateur in the area making your comments useless. You can't be in a key "too low" unless you're singing in a key higher than that you're playing, then the key would be too low.

  • you fools are silly. The idea of a cover is to put your own flavor into it, nobody wants to hear a cover that's exactly like the original, that's just copying and boring. This guy did a great job.

  • Nice work! keep it up!

  • GREAT job, man!
